sometimes riders need to wait for there parent club to say they are not returning before they can say where they are going do agree its draging on a little since sam was announced
-
It was also said ace signed for comets on less money that he had been offered from other teams Sometimes riders can earn more buy taking a lower offer as the can score higher at a certain track or gain more local sponsorship and of coarse travel is a big issue its not all about signing fee or x per point

Aslong as racing is good that should be enough People who only go to watch a winning team are not fans of the sport
-
wasnt aware of any riders living in workington that could fill a no.1 birth
-
not sure how much truth in it heard craig wanting too much to ride at workington craig is still a good rider but very unpredictable had the ability to go a lot further than he has done if a team signs him its a gamble not sure if its possible but if it is needs to be something in contract that money is held back if he goes awol
-
and that is bickleys problem was too good for the oposition and had equipment far better when he was a junior he never had the chance to learn to race the change was too big for him to adjust too im sure kyle with the right backing did have it to be good but think he was a superstar before he started at higher level (no fault of his own )
-
personaly i think 3pm dust bowl meetings @£20 will turn a few away i feel spedway is best under floodlights but others do prefer afternoon meetings
-
think Tero has had his day now too up and down and not know for looking after his equipment very well good rider on his day but they are getting less often
-
needs flood lights and switch to later start time its the only way they will keep the dust down enough to allow spectators to watch the racing
-
id love to see a fully on song rasmus or kilderman round north side
-
not so sure about that there has been plenty riders over the years who have the signs of drug users or heavy drinkers and never been caught
-
no real point trying to build team untill regs are finalised but i see tom brennan not wanted at glasgow could be good round northside also sam gotta be of interest the lad never gives up and rides his heart out and luke harrison all depends on cost and building a team that works

not followed the forum regularly since comets closed last time but remember you and always found your posts fairly unbiassed and you come across well as a speedway fan who knows the crack not just post towards your own track -

crowds will always drop from the inital buzz from opening nights id say tyhe dust has been a big part of some dropping away hopefully if the flood lights rumours are correct then switiching to night time meets will improve the racing and crowds -

dont knock the line up sp many have said they wouldnt go to watch nationla league riders but weve seen some much better racing at new track than many others ive been to over all leagues -
your right in a few things there few years back you couldnt ride in 3 leagues but use conor baily as example young lad trying hard started the season only workington gave him a place now winning heats for redcar and belle vue is this a example of the ndl doing its job or the other leagues over looking a rider that wants to race whatever level
