Also a reserve can be in any of the 15 heats if going well or other riders are injured/missing So programed rides don't mean much A struggling reserve often only gets 3 rides if the other is riding well

Who says workington had to sign her I'm sure there's plenty other options with the points left for 3 riders before she was announced

she was quick on the day thats how you need to judge them we can only see how she does after a few meetings

Just like to say all the posters from other teams who are recognising the effort of workington promotion Thank you and you are showing true love of the sport Most will know Steve lawson is a great bloke dont know Andrew personally but he is putting heart and sole into this project

Can see Ritchie Worrall going same way as Danny Bird Will be remembered as brother of stevie that use to ride Idiot through away a good career No sympathy for cocaine users in any part of life

hope they all do well remember the names now maybe ive seen them in other meetings rather than league meetings getting exciting now gonna be long time till start of season

so far i agree regarding increasing averages think sam will take time to settle at this level but think he will improve over season and also looking like celina will be at reserve unless we go for higher end ht leader and a lower average reserve

not so sure regarding females in speedway was there 1 a few years back for redcar ???

wow gotta hand it to comets management 3 new foreign riders and all rated highly just hope the paying public turn up to cover the costs

if vissing is signed suppose it makes a bit of sense to have a little humour in announcing today

auty was involved in a few incidents over the years at derwent park he did mellow a little later on andre compton was held in same regard as auty untill he signed for workington

wonder if santa will have something for us tomorrow

he rode workington 2 or 3 times last season maybe had 1 good ride each night rest were poor

moran brothers were the same bikes got pulled out still covered in dirt from last race

im sure something was said last year adam did not have the money to spend on bikes to make them reliable

adam roynon on his day around old workington track was fantastic sadly now hes a shadow of the rider he once was and very injury prone

And another assetfor the club which could be important for the future Who holds Sam's contract Not sure how it works now but junior or old national league contrCts never passed over to higher leagues

after weeks of no news they are coming fast now looking forward to the new season and to see what the next level of racing brings yes there will be faster riders and track record will be lowered byt will the racing be as good ??? higher level does not always bring better racing as we found out last year some real good entertaining meetings

if he has a average season can see him pushing 10pt average

too much focus on heat leaders teams are more successful with strong reserves and 2nd strings that improve rather than strong heat leader who mins every race but his partner only picks up points if others dont finish race
