If Nicki had done it to Crump youd have been on here calling it hard riding but as its the other way round its dirty. They all bloody do it - and IMO the Danes are far worse than anyone else. Peter - where does she defend it? She says one kick doesnt make him a dirty rider but doesnt try to defend the kick. IMO Crump is just as dirty as any other rider, be it Hans, Jason Nicki, Kelvin etc etc it all depends on who you like. The only difference between hard and dirty riding is what team they do it for and whether you like them. The only rider I can honestly say Ive never seen do anything questionable is Mark Loram, otherwise everyone of them do it. The ref was Mick Bates. He actually excluded David Norris from one heat, must have been the sun in his eyes not seeing tha Floppy was in his team GB kevlars. Peter

The story actually had the unfortunate twist that brought British speedway fans down to the level og British football fans international reputation. That is definately not Hans's fault and I very well know that it is only a very minor part of all British football fans that has made this reputation just as it is also a very limited number of speedway fans that has been way past that important line since saturday. Anyone must admit that some of the posts on this forum, and especially in Hans's guestbook, is way out of line. Well the new in this thread could be that Hans Andersen just made the news in a two minute interwiev on the main national radio channel here in Denmark. Threathening behavior and direct personal threats from English fans has made him abandon tonights match and he is stunned of the reactions from this "non"incident. Laugh, be proud or whatever - but make a note that this will do speedway no good in Denmark, or England for that matter. I don't know what i mean. I can understand that the final heat was an ugly needle in the eye for team GB and the fans, but some of the posts and the language is way out of line on this subject. I can't imagine Danish speedway fans go to the same level of word abuse against a single rider, but maybe thats just my hope. Anyway i was very disapointed with team DK's performance saturday. They were way below normal form and as you see after the change made to your scoresheet : KB 4 from 4, NP 4 from 5 !!!!!!!! Pete, i think the crux for the Oz team also is that Adams and Sullivan performs. They both lost 3 out of 5 in allmost man to man heats against the Danes. Crump was up to standard, only lost to............................ Kenneth Bjerre ! Any way, it will be a fantastic final on saturday, if Sweden and Oz shows up that is ! Peter S.

I didnt mean the preparation but the size and shape. The turns looked to be very different in shape and to me it seemed they rode down hill into turn 3. Peter

Nicki P. was commentating on danish DK4. He was also impressed with the ref and with team GB. We actually had two sets of commentator as the Sky commentators was screaming so loud that it went through all mics. It was the first time I saw the Eastbourne track, cant help wondering what the guy who build it at first hand had to drink before he started his work.
