  1. Yes he was Iris, also Kylmakorpi. But i don't think it was their fault. They were used in the line-up for away matches to make the team reach a decent average and then on the day r/r was used, making fools of the home club and the spectators. Its 100% that the r/r rule will be removed in 2006 due to this. Regarding Korskro, see the background map on : http://www.esbjergmotorsport.dk/default_fi...skrobanerne.htm The small tracks are on the left side of the access road before the motox track. The first one is a purpose build 50cc track, but it is hardly ever used because it unfortunately is build way to small even for microspeedway ( interesting though, that it is used for practice by the national 80cc team from time to time !). The second one is the 80cc track which is where Simon won saturday. I have been told that there also used to be a 1000m track in the complex, not sure where though. Peter
  2. Hey, The 6 rider team average is min. 25 - max. 36, however : 36,01 - 37,00 and the team start with minus 2 37,07 - 38,00 - 3 38,01 - 39,00 -4 39,01 - 40,00 -5 above 40 not permitted. That is the 2005 rules, no dought the rules and probably the whole tournament will change drastically for 2006. Many financial problems in some of the the clubs, and a lot of last minute team changes ( i.e. top rider not showing up and it turns out has never been contracted kind of stuff) Have to go now. see you. Peter PS: thanks for salute to my Simon, Iris.
  3. There are unconfirmed rumours in DK that the Australian team wont come for this meeting ! Anth ??????????????? Peter
  4. But as father and mechanic I just have to lett you all know that Simon Selch is the new Danish 50cc Champion. After winning the initial 20 heat round 9 year old Simon was "cold as ice" when he took control of the A-final from the tapes. Simon will finish his 50cc career in a month and move up to 80cc. Ambition on behalf of ones children can be a dreadfull thing, but I can tell you this feels great. Sorry for taking your time Peter Selch SSK

  18. The plans for an open championship round has been cancelled as the "planned" tv deal didn't go through. regards Peter
  19. Having 25% of the riders and only winning 22,2% of the GP's was a bit disapointing for us Danes. But hey!, how did the brits do ? See you Peter
  20. Århus is the second largest city in DK. The population 290.000 and the city is known to be the capital of Jutland. There is plenty of entertainment and there is a lot of "nightlife" etc.. Nothing like Vojens Regards Peter More info : http://www.visitaarhus.com
  21. Summary : World cup speedway round in Århus. When AGF and Århus GF ( two football clubs ) step in as stadium owners at newyear they present will a varied selections of sports for the sportfans in Århus. The GM of the new owners confirms that it is mos likely that a GP round will be in Århus. Confirms talks with Ole Olsen and states that if is possible in Copenhagen why not in Århus. Talks are not that far as to have a date set. Ole Olesen : A GP in Århus is a good idea and I think we can fill the 20.000 seats. We have missed a GP in Jutland the past two years. Regards Peter
  22. Bjerre is 1st reserve, which should give him some rides. And you might be right that we will only have 3 danes in 2005, which should be OK. Work out : 2004 : 4 out of 24 riders, wins 2 out of 6 GP's so far ! 2005 : 3 out of 16 riders, wins ................................. See you Peter
