Wembleys pitch was fine until they pulled the stadium down, only affected by "other" events...they had trouble with the pitch in the new stadium but its good now.

I remember the 1970 FA cup final between Chelsea and Leeds..the pitch was like a ploughed field..the reason?....Horse of the year show a week earlier...Don't think it happened again. Exactly, it would cost too much, plus I don't think they'ed be interested.

Yeah they had to take the touchline up and where the corner flags went...I remember seeing some footage of an England match played the week after a speedway meeting and you could see the difference in colour in the turf where it had been.

Well thats your opinion and you're entitled to it. I dont agree one little bit, Nigel does a great job commentating and promoting Speedway..as for calling a race wrong, all commentators in all sports make mistakes...IMHO.

I'd ban him from FIM meetings for a year, seen as the offence was in an FIM meeting, I'd allow him to earn his living in team Speedway however.

That would be ideal...Greg single figures, misses Semi final, Nicki and Puk both big double figures, Tai back next gp....but I'm not holding my breath.
