  1. i'd love to see Bridger in a GP, imagine all the talking he'd do on his twitter in the weeks leading upto it and then come the GP we wouldn't even notice him until he starts blaming his score of 00000 on everything but himself
  2. if he turns it down what would the odds be on him being the wildcard for teh New Zealand GP
  3. i think ZG will go with Protasiewicz, i think even Greg himself said on twitter that was most likely due to PP's status with the fans of ZG and the community
  4. on the subject of money wasn't it mentioned that Gollob was being paid 1 million us dollars just for his monster energy sponsorship for this year
  5. With Davey Watt in the middle trying to calm it all down and Boycey in the background showing them how he knocked Gollob out
  6. it's not bad but it's not great either. the percentage could probably be less if you go back further. his form from the end of last year is where the majority of podiums come from, but he was only in the series last year after another wild card oppurtunity
  7. but this year he has only got 10% podium finishes. if you include all of last years Gp's and this years he has 5 podiums from 21 Gp's (23%) i think. but lets look at 2009 as well he had 0 podium finishes from 11 Gp's so thats 5 podiums from 32 GP's (15%)
  8. it was. there was always entertainment with Sam during those years
  9. Not really a race as such, but i remember when i was a kid wishing that Sam would miss the gate at wolves so that he'd have to come from the back, he used to do it all on the back straight on first lap almost every week in one of his races
  10. a salary cap is surely the only way it can work. having a look at Torun they have Holder and Holta, one of those will be in the GP's next year the other won't, they also have Ward who if he goes into the Gp's they can't have in the team. i do think there could be one or 2 shocks next year with certain decisions.
  11. looking at the polish teams the majority of them have 2 Gp riders in there teams now (Zielona Gora have 3 of next years Gp riders). surely by bringing in this rule to reduce wage bills they are increasing the value of the better riders that aren't in the Gp's
  12. i've got a feeling Ward won't take a place in the GP's even if he is offered one. Also think the new ruling in Poland may effect a few things. Could we see a case in Poland of some teams paying certain riders more not to ride in the GP's so that they can be in the team
  13. what about the final in cardiff of gate 4 when pedersen forced holder wide forcing hancock wide almost in the fence he held it wide open, possibly one of the best first corners ever from Hancock Dangerous from Pedersen though
  14. slightly off topic but could also have a bearing on Harris and other riders competing in next years GP series. Rules in Poland i believe will only allow 1 GP rider per team next year. Harris currently rides in the same team as Crump so if he does get the pick he'll obviously need to find a new team (or perhaps Crump will) in Poland. This is where it gets more complicated because the 2011 Zielona Gora team contains both Hancock and AJ, now with Pepe P qualifying outright through the GP challenge thats 3 GP riders 2 of which will be on the look out for Polish teams for 2012, Gorzow have Gollob and Nicki P if Pedersen gets in top 8 or a wild card spot that is another rider looking for a new team in Poland. Will riders opt not to ride in GP's so that they have a better team place in Poland or will GP riders ride in the lower leagues in Poland for less money which could effect the standard of there equipment perhaps
  15. Is Lee Richardson still the top Brit in the averages in Britain, Sweden and Poland ?
  16. cheers i usually go on myp2p but it appears to have been shut down
  17. does anyone have a stream for this ? am struggling to find one
  18. thanks for correcting that i couldn't find up to date stats for sweden. how are the other 4 doing in sweden ?
  19. Thats what they are in the British which in itself is a very weak league. in stronger leagues Bomber is a second or third heatleader at best. Tai is a reserve and Kennett has only just started in Europe as second string, Bridger got dropped and i'm not even sure if Barker rides out there yet.
  20. Tai also had massive problems with Michael Lee last year i believe which led to the 2 of them parting ways and Tai losing a big sponsorship deal with Trucks R Us half way through the season
