  1. I wouldn't be so sure on Wells and Proctor if as expected non EU riders won't be able to double up. think they would go for PL over EL
  2. isn't his mrs English, also he has kids that were born here possibly ? same for Holder also.
  3. worryingly he mentions this also 'but they just haven’t grasped that speedway is a unique sport which is all about putting bums on seats' they haven't really done that for the last few years either
  4. Middleditch only wants him here so he has someone paying rent all year
  5. so is the bubble starting to burst in Poland with regards to rider wages and money that clubs actually have
  6. think that is the key for Coventry, build a team that has Harris as second heat leader. Always seems to do better in that role than in Number 1 role
  7. if Ward is banned for a certain period of time surely there will also be work permit issues that accompany this ?
  8. here is todays latest news from the wolves website about it. http://www.wolverhamptonwolves.co/news.php?extend.2142 WOLVERHAMPTON will bring the curtain down on the 2014 campaign as they host their traditional season-ending Banks's Olympique on Tuesday (7.30). The hugely popular event, which adopts a unique handicap format, always pulls in a bumper crowd and Tuesday is set to be no different. An exciting line-up has been assembled including talented youngsters Oliver Berntzon and Tobiasz Musielak who both make their first appearance at Monmore Green. They are joined by British stars Chris Harris, Scott Nicholls and Chris Harris plus King's Lynn ace Rory Schlein amongst others. Wolves favourites Peter Karlsson, Lasse Bjerre, Jacob Thorssell and Joe Jacobs will all ride alongside Cradley top man Steve Worrall on what promises to be an entertaining evening. Former Wolves man Ricky Wells, who claimed a rostrum finish in the event in 2012, will also be in action - and he is looking forward to an exciting night. Said Wells: "I'm really looking forward to Tuesday, I love a meeting with a different format and it's always an exciting night. "The handicap format changes the whole night, and with Wolves being such a great race track it definitely makes for an exciting end to the season." LINE-UP: Ricky Wells, Danny King, Richard Lawson, Rory Schlein, Jacob Thorssell, Scott Nicholls, Pontus Aspgren, Tobiasz Musielak, Steve Worrall, Oliver Berntzon, Chris Harris, Aaron Summers, Gino Manzares, Peter Karlsson, Lasse Bjerre. RESERVES: Max Clegg, Tom Perry.
  9. just like Coventry hated Hans Andersen all those years ago. The days of needing a police escort when leaving the track
  10. He's the prime example of a spoilt child who has always got his own way, whenever something goes wrong it is never his fault. don't really want to comment on the depression thing as I've seen it effect some people in a really bad way. but I agree that his comeback from that was all too sudden
  11. I don't think he was down to ride it, nothing was ever mentioned about it. Usually the majority of the seasons team ride in it but I have a feeling from what was said at the talk in that relations between the club and Tai are not in a good place. Will be interesting to see if Pete Adams is part of his setup for the GP's next year
  12. is it a gamble on the attendance also ? it would cost roughly 3k to go to this event from the UK. BSI must be counting on a lot of Australians travelling across the country to see this.
  13. Like how Harris was given all those wild cards he got ?
  14. looking like a minimum 3k to get there for this
  15. So are we looking at a team consisting of Lindgren, Fricke, Thorssell, Berntzen/Garrity so far
  16. At least Poole appearing to be using riders that have actually ridden for them and not Emil
  17. is the German market important for BSI ? what with Smolinski winning a GP this year, could they give him a wild card
  18. reading that I pictured the words coming out of the mouths of Middlo and Ford
  19. Does the potential re-emergence of Hampel also reduce the wild card chances ?
