  1. I don't. Where were they when he needed guidance here?
  2. he hasn't been banned yet. he's been suspended pending the decision.
  3. I love how we're getting the ' oh woe is me' comments from him now. Sympathy level, zero....
  4. Th only thing I'll say, is that they must have had some idea he would get some sort of a ban or suspension. I don't buy that they've had no time to tap up an adequate replacement , they've had 11 days! I did wonder if KK might say no, he's got a chance to be WC, same with Hancock. Not even Matt's money can tempt them then. I'm sure he'll cook something up though!
  5. Oh, I think you'll find tongue was firmly planted in cheek.....
  6. His last tweet was some time ago and he was calling Rosco a Fanny, rather apt description actually
  7. :D thanks boys! Can't blame people for being eager At last! Well now we can focus on the GP Saturday and who will be a deserved World Champion again this year No doubt Matty has it all worked out who he'll bring in..
  8. I can see the parallel you are drawing there SL, it fit's perfectly, just not the same ring to it.......
  9. Bumper issue next week then Ward will ride Saturday no doubt too! Just a quick question Phil little off topic. Where in my area can I buy the SS should I want to in the TA postcode?
  10. It's also madness to run a vital Speedway play off contending meeting on a night you have key riders missing. I think we agree on that, it's just the football thing we don't. It's that bloody SISU lot again, causing all this trouble. Why aren't they playing it on the Saturday afternoon, like normal football teams?
  11. I agree with the majority of your post, however, I think it's fair to say that he only admitted he'd had a conciliatory drink or two after he failed the test. If, there turns out to be a fault with the device or the procedure then I'd imagine that admission will be blown out of the water.........
  12. An England match is hardly comparable to Coventry v Gillingham, Orion Although I do take your point.
  13. I've asked this question more than once directly and indirectly, he doesn't seem to want to answer....... Are you alluding to the fact that you know that there is an issue, is it guess work, or are we to await an SS exclusive, read all about it post?
  14. This could all so easily have been avoided, if they'd just left the fixture where it was. But no, it makes much more sense to get a few more punters through the gates on the Thursday stuff the rest of the fans. Put out a depleted team upset the and upset the fans. Run the risk of losing valuable points and even the meeting, upset the fans Run the risk of losing out on Play off place and robbing themselves of one if not two bumper pay days and really, really upset the fans. For what, a few football viewing supporters? Ah yes, I can see it now, it all makes perfect sense
  15. What people are trying to get at as Derwent has eloquently posted above, is what, if any technicalities his lawyers would use to defend his case, The questions and discussion certainly in my case is just trying to ascertain what procedures are used by the FIM officials and whether or not the device on used Darcy has actually ever been legally challenged as i) the results of that single device would be insufficient for someone to be charged with a Drink Drive offence here. ii) the points laid out by Derwent above. I'm might be going off on too much of tangent, but I just find it interesting
  16. The handheld devices are only used as screening devices on the roadside here. They give the Police the power of arrest. Once at the Police Station the person is required to provide a further specimen on a much more accurate machine, the result of which they will either be charged, or given the opportunity to provide blood for analysis if the result is borderline. This is why I asked on the Patrick Dudek thread if Ward had been given any other testing ie blood and why I asked on here who actually administered the test on the Sunday? It appears it was a doctor with referee, one would think they know what they are doing?
  17. I actually know a few that follow the Bees and CCFC, I know a few that follow, Bees, CCFC and the Blaze I don't know many Kings Lynn fans that do though....I don't doubt that they'd have had a good following! I'm 100% with you though, how often do we get a full team, now to be riding depleted again! It's not like were up against basement fodder like Wolves, we are fighting for points here. We are coming up that weekend too, but it looks like we won't bother now until Saturday, we can't come up and day early because of work. So it's us and the Lynn fans that lose out because of a few that follow Coventry City. Cheers Bees promotion..
  18. Aaah, I knew you mentioned something! I suppose it is fair to assume that this case is likely to run and run. Those hoping for a quick resolution, I wouldn't hold your breath ....
  19. Just looking at it chronologically and trying to work out what the " technicalities" might be, who actually administer the breath test? Surely a precedent has been set? Didn't Wackie mention a similar incident with a grass track rider earlier this year?
  20. Absolutely! Drink drive offences here, come under traffic law and are known as 'absolute offences' once all the procedures are complete. The hand held device is only a a screening process... Not sure how the FIM work?
