I rarely agree with you Ian, but spot on. Just to pick up on the word respect, it something he has shown a distinct lack of for some time now.. I will respect the punishment from the FIM and once he's served it then he can come back if he wishes. For me, I have zero respect for Darcy Ward, good rider or not and if he turns his back on Speedway, I won't lose sleep over it. You see, it works both ways Darcy dear!

I have to admit, my first thought was, isn't this the Ben Barker that lied and pissed off to Birmingham, no can't be? The sneaky double die b.....d? The rider I hoped would never darken our door again. Personally I can't stand the little cretin, but I was totally underwhelmed at the signing of MJJ and he's hardly set the world on fire. What did Mick Horton say at the time, he didn't want to ride over here..... I feel the same about signing Barker, underwhelmed and I wouldn't have had him back, ever!! I accept he'll probably give 100% on a bike blah blah. But Barker FFS? Is that the best we could do? But, it's the team I care about at the end of the day, so I hope he bangs in some good scores, I don't have to like him though
