  1. These are the two nearest. The Brandon Hall is more expensive. http://www.mercure.com/gb/hotel-6625-mercu...try/index.shtml http://www.premierinn.com/pti/hotelInforma...o?hotelId=23866 Edit; Paulco has stayed at the Primier Inn a couple of times and would recommend it. You can walk from both, the Premier is slightly further away, I'd allow 20 -30 mins depending on how quick you go, but there is a pub on the way..
  2. I went through that thought too..but how do you explain NP, AJ and Crumpies form..so it doesn't really add up...Bomber is riding here.. no excuse there...Leigh Adams and Freddie ride here too...
  3. I don't behold to that. It's who will perform best for the team that matters to me. I picked a team ( 5) on current form yesterday, that I would probably change today... You, yourself know that Rob Lyons is challenged with his choice, we need a mix of both...unless of course you advocate that Screeny should be in the team? I don't suppose anyone picked up tonight, Sam's comments. When he visited Swindon the other day, Leigh Adams was the fittest out of all of them ... Well frankly that is disgraceful, the Oldest Rider is in the best shape...
  4. Yep, just wish there were more like him... absolute entertainment and commitment personified...with a bit of madness thrown in....
  5. He can be whatever age he wants if he does that every GP... Yummy fab...
  6. Now now people, remember this was 'Mistake Millard' tonight not 'Wuffy' Pearson.... As usual, I can't say I noticed him after about....mmmm heat 1... god he's dull I just switch off when I hear his voice.. Bring back Wuffy Pearson....
  7. How refreshing... Emil ..whathisface....brought, what was a dour GP to LIFE.......thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!!! He is awesome!!!! Just wish their were more of him, British riders take note... Well done Freddie too.....I love the passion he's got..good lad..
  8. I would have thought that Speedway Updates would follow it, but it doesn't appear to have a thread yet... http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=GP
  9. As representatives of Super Sevens even more reason. to stand I'd have thought So the original comment wasn't out of order..
  10. From the BSPA website; Friday April 24, 2009 NEW Great Britain boss Rob Lyon is turning to the youngsters ahead of this summer’s Speedway World Cup. Lyon, who took over the reins from Jim Lynch during the winter, has included several Under-21 stars including Tai Woffinden, who made his Great Britain debut in last year’s World Cup. Ben Barker and Lewis Bridger, who will do battle alongside Woffinden in Friday’s British Under-21 Championship at Lakeside, are also included. And Lyon has also confirmed the appointment of Scott Nicholls as skipper of the side – despite the rider himself sitting out British racing to cut down on his demanding schedule. Said Lyon: “When I took the job I said we were looking at a long-term plan and that’s why we’ve turned to the younger lads. “When you look down the squad I think people can see we have a bright future as a nation.” Lyon will reduce the squad closer to the July tournament and each meeting features five riders in a team. SQUAD: Oliver Allen Ben Barker Lewis Bridger Chris Harris Edward Kennett Danny King Scott Nicholls © Lee Richardson Joe Screen Simon Stead Tai Woffinden James Wright No doubt there'll be the usual..What's the point we won't win anything...blah ,blah, moan, moan and bitch but........ On current form I'd be choosing; Scott Nicholls © Chris Harris Eddie Kennett Lee Richardson Tai Woffinden
  11. Can I change it back to Scott Nicholls please Pete..
  12. From the newly revamped and very smart Speedway World, he has been suffering from a virus...so god knows what we'll get on Saturday http://speedwaygp.com/en/index
  13. I'll go back and change it...sowwy Can I change my mind again.... If so, when's the cut off please...?
  14. They will certainly have attempted it .. I suggest that Paulco meets up with you, so as not to be led astray PS...remember, you can't smoke weed in the UK, you'll get nicked...
  15. Can I swap Scott Nicholls for Chris Harris please Ballinger?
  16. Yes thanks Pete Leigh Adams £45,000 Captain Hans Andersen £ 45,000 Scott Nicholls £ 45,000 Freddie Lindgen £30,00 AJ £35,000
