  1. I started off cheering for the Aussies but ended up cheering for the Danes .... Ok, losing crump was a massive blow, but they all but gave up after that and Ryan Sullivan didn't even start. I expected more spirit from the Aussies. Great meeting with some real comedy moments- The interviews with Jagus and Gollob, Bjarnes one fingered wave at Gollob A well deserved win, by a professional team, with incredible team spirit... You can't half see how they win people round And hopefully a good payday for Hans at last.
  2. Yep, so is Shadow he's got a little bit bet on them aswell.. I want this finishing order please, thankyou Aussie Sweden Denmark Poland
  3. I'm wondering how much they pay the guy to twizzle the stop/go sign all day....
  4. Oh, I think you'll find there was, there was lots of passing of our riders...
  5. Aah, well at least their whole journey won't be in vain.
  6. What a shame , I saw one chap in an Edinburgh coat, bet he was even more chuffed about the drive home. Luckily I don't live far from the Stadium, otherwise I'd have been even more peed off than I was.
  7. If " she" is that very attractive young lady I saw you with outside the Stadium, then I reckon you made the right decision You can always watch it back on a recording
  8. Adrian Rymels ride in Heat 11 was a positive... The first time all night I rose to my feet, apart from going to the bar
  9. Oh dear...and you'd been doing so well...
  10. Guffaw, guffaw, guffaw...you're on good form at the moment mate, keep 'em coming...
  11. Is it far from Cardiff itself? It maybe an option for next year if we don't get a Hotel room.. Aslong as we don't have 2007 weather..
  12. You were certainly able to buy them on the day last year, I'd imagine it will be the same this year.
  13. I'd say have it at Coventry, but then I'm biased ... When I saw this last night, I couldn't get excited about the prospect at all. It to me would never match Cardiff which has the carnival atmosphere all day in the build up, the easy access to the Stadium from hotels, the opportunity to socialise centrally with like minded people.. etc....etc...etc..Cardiff has become almost ritualistic for an awful lot of us, I can't see the same interest if they do have the European GP at Wembley. It turns out quite expensive not everyone will be able to afford to go to both. I'm not knocking it I just can't muster any interest for it. That said I'd still go when it came to it .
  14. Do you know what Rob, every now and then, you can be quite funny...
  15. From the airport about 20 minutes, but you'll need to get a taxi from Coventry Station ,that will cost you about £ 20.00... but yes we must meet up.
  16. Not everyone wants to get pished though Paul...
  17. I only live around the corner from the Brandon Hall Hotel Lis, that would be the one I would chose, set in nice grounds...I had my wedding reception there..
  18. Here are two Lis, both in walking distance of the Stadium...about 20 minutes depending on how fast you walk...They are the closest ones...I do know of local Bed and Breakfast accomodation aswell, but they are further away and would require a taxi. http://www.mercure.com/mercure/fichehotel/...che_hotel.shtml http://www.premierinn.com/pti/dropdownSearch.do
  19. I will be sitting in the stand behind the tapes, but that is where I always sit. The view is excellent from there. I don't think the view is bad wherever you go to be honest, but if it's banter a plenty you want then maybe you should head for the spot in front of the scoreboard there's lots of forum members there to look after you too.
