  1. If, there was something to be learnt from the concrete track with a bit of dust on it. The poor crowd, the poor racing ? You don't go there again!! ? It's on the shedule for next year? I think someone needs to rethink it..or be sacked! Unless of course, the bung culture overrides it all? Hmmmm............
  2. Well, Tai had his chance did he not? Having dislocated his shoulder a few days before this meetiing, he decided to go out the very next day to play about on his jetski....., Very professional.. He didn't win it..His fault!
  3. Robbery, extortion, you found them in the street? Maybe parsloes?
  4. No idea, I don't kiss arse and get free ones...
  5. Having sat in all three. The top was full of pissed poles throwing beer everywhere and it felt too high for me. The bottom was ok, but you pay a lot for seats that have certain viewing blocked because of the concrete posts and you cant see the rest of the stadium.. It's been middle tier back straight for us for several years now...Not the cheapest seats but the view is excellent, it's always full so the atmosphere brilliant and you get your complimentary flag to wave for the tele ..ha ha
  6. Kennett and Bridger ...You're having a laugh Mr Middleditch. Replace them with Auty and Roynon, you might actually get some respect!
  7. You'd think the way some are carrying on. All these Aussies will be bestowed with sainthoods..Come on! Don't make me laugh... They got outridden and outsmarted simple as that!
  8. Oh yes! The future is bright, the future is red and white
  9. Tai showed passion, huge passion, it was clear for all to see! What do people want, blood!? His scores proved it too, not only in the race off.... !!! He's matured so much in the last few years too. He's a good lad and let's be honest here, he's the small light in the future of team GB
  10. Looks like Madsen will make way for MBJ.. http://www.speedwaygp.com/news/article/1594/swc/mikkel-b-set-for-final
  11. Another great post! The bit i've highlighted is the bit that gets me. We have one rider in the GP series and as far as I understand it, he has no idea about what is going on with his bikes? He gets off it when a race is done and leaves it to his mechanics......... Now, look at the World champions recently. Gollob is the one that springs to mind. He knows as soon as he's got on his bike what the issue are, one duff heat and he was sorted tonight. He always fiddling and changing things on his bikes...I thought it would be a requisite to know your bike? That said Martin Smolinski boasts himself a mechanical engineering background .. We a falling behind nationally and internationally and we have nobody to blame but ourselves!
  12. Steve, the clue is in the wink smiley. It's a bit of banter relating to our Scottish friend Snyper.. To balance things out, I'm a Bees fan and if I was down in the SW on that date I'd look to go, It will be a cracking meeting! At least someone has the foresight to set up such a meeting..even if it is the evil one!
  13. You can hardly draw parallels between Speedway and Tennis either, which is a mind numbingly boring sport most of the time...
  14. Good news! MBJ is replaced by Nicki P. He's just tweeted that he's ok with it, the team is strong and he'll be back next time. Very professional I thought!
  15. Don't see the problem myself, it clearly is Team England ...
  16. There is no love lost between Smoli and Kroner either ..
