  1. You do a fantastic job, always have done. All voluntary too! Such a shame someone had to question your integrity!!!
  2. But he promised to put the stadium back together, what was the estimated cost again, £100k + it's all BS!
  3. Part of me thinks that Sandhu sold the club to Mick Horton, thinking/hoping he'd fail in the first two years.... Mick has made some howlers, no denying it. He even admits he been wrong. That's say's more to me then it does about Sandhu! I've always believed Mick Horton has had the right intentions, he just wasn't smart enough to see he was being shafted by Sandhu and Brandon Estates!
  4. ....Just not interested in meetings of that ilk. I want to watch a meeting that means something either for my team, league position to get to the play offs, or the World championship meetings. I just don't get the buzz from challenges or individuals. Nothing wrong with that is there?
  5. You might want to spend time away from social media then, cos the Sandhu train is going to rumble on...how can it not?
  6. Sandhu and his cohorts should be the ones to see the riders ok...He's the piece of dirt that did this to them. It actually beggars belief that people still defend him too.. Wheres his lackey giving a statement that they will put it right for the riders? I'll happily give to a fund, that goes directly towards the riders, but I won't attend any meeting...
  7. Each to their own, I'm not interested in challenge meetings, or promotions that want to pick the bones from our defunct club...
  8. True. I was just feeling from a supporters point of view, it just rubs salt in the wounds and keep the inevitable lingering on... But it's not the Bees is it, they're not running....
  9. Not really sure of the point of that....
  10. Why would Sandhu and Colin Pratt want Speedway back at Brandon. Colin is at Swindon now.....doesn't make sense!
  11. So do I Wonder what trick they have up their sleeves next?
  12. At least Sandhu and Heaver have their stocks Statement from BriSCA / BSCDA By BSCDA, Feb 27 2017 03:00PM As you will all be aware, the Coventry Management have endured well documented serious issues throughout the Winter period which have been both delicate and protracted. BriSCA & BSCDA clearly understand the desire of fans and drivers for updates on the situation however given the involvement of third parties such as Rugby Council and the confidentiality of ongoing discussion we have continued to support the Coventry management whilst, at the same time, forming alternative plans should Coventry not materialise for 2017 in June as previously suggested. BriSCA are due to meet early next week to hopefully discuss and confirm alternate plans now we have come to the end of a long road for the Coventry team of trying to keep Brandon alive. Following that a revised fixture list for 2017 offering clarity will be issued. Late last week BriSCA was informed that the return of racing to Brandon was now 'extremely' unlikely in 2017 and the management are continuing pursuing alternative options for a new site and relocation of their dates. As is now in the public domain further news developed yesterday with regard the future of Coventry Bees which in itself had to be a consideration in any release of information. We do genuinely appreciate the patience of our fans and drivers and truly understand the frustrations of what may appear to have been a lack of any real updates however behind the scenes we have at all times tried to support initiatives to resolve the Coventry issues without prematurely precipitating 'deadlines' until every avenue had been exhausted. The loss of Coventry, as indeed any iconic stadium, is a major disappointment to our sport. Mr Sandhu remains committed to a replacement site which hopefully will make progress in coming months. However, we have lost major venues in the past and the sport must 'continue' adapt and pull together its strengths, one being the strong relationship and commitment of BriSCA and BSCDA to continue its stability and growth, The prevailing circumstances at Coventry and the way in which the venue exited the sport is sad but beyond control. There no doubt will be a time and place for statements and points of view as facts are made available by the Coventry management in the due course. This is respectfully not a time to speculate or demonise individuals or bodies. In the interim, we are a fantastic sport, in the short term we need to 'pull together' as we still have a great season in prospect. Further information will be released on 7th March. ..
  13. It's thick OR| Brandon Estates + Sandhu = No more Brandon?
  14. We've been denied the opportunity for a farewell meeting. The stadium has been trashed. Where would you suggest it's held?
  15. Ok, going off the stadium postcode..... scroll down and click on criminal damage and arson!!! https://www.streetcheck.co.uk/crime/cv83gl
  16. The force would have been Warwickshire police, Rugby. The first question they would ask is, .Who owns the stadium and or the contents that were damaged. If it's still Sandhu, then it's his property to damage. We've never really understood who owns what have we .............?? Once that has been established, then they would be able to make a decision as to what if any offences have been committed or whether it's a civil matter...
  17. Jeez as if I haven't cried enough today..... I feel pretty vindicated though, not that it's any comfort. Why would it all be so cloak and dagger if there weren't dodgy goings on?
  18. Is someone prepared to put their head above the parapet and let us have the truth! Plenty know what's gone on I'm sure... Anyone?
  19. Exactly! All this, if it hadn't been for the winter of discontent, blah blah!! Yes of course there were big issues, but he was always going to build on the land and there is no way the 2010 situation should have any bearing on the disgusting behaviour this winter! He knew damn well that trashing the stadium would mean the end, that's why he did it!
  20. Previous behaviour Janet, he's had a chequered history, so he's easy to blame! To me it's purely down to Sandhu and Brandon Estates. I don't believe and never have believed that Sandhu doesn't have any connection to it all still.. The one way to secure the Stadium wouldn't be used would be to trash it... he's not sneaky though, it wasn't the mysterious fire, or travellers getting the blame. Bingo! Job done! The story about the Police being involved. What's happening with that? I'd hazard a guess at nothing because a. they were never involved b. you can't cause criminal damage to your own property - think about it???? Now it leaves way for them to leave it to rot and then they'll eventually get what they want... Remember the crap that Jeremy Heaver came out with about the new eco stadium, did anybody really believe that? They can take their stocks on the road, they don't need Brandon. Now they sit and wair, Sandhu bought it in 2004, so he's happy to play the long game! "Honourable man" Money and power that's all he's interested in .
  21. Those poor riders! Absolute effing disgrace. What is it with these people.. We'll that's me done! I hope all of you involved in this are happy, how you live with yourselves is beyond belief. I hope your greed takes you down on a bad and painful way..
