Well I've tried to be nice I think you will find however that the fraka you speak of I wasn't even in attendance as I had just come back from abroad and to be quite honest with you, you would NOT find me swearing or abusing anybody at any track, I find your post very offensive towards me with these false acquisitions, yes I do have a few beers (don't we all) yes I do like to create a happy atmosphere with singing and chanting but DO NOT accuse me of shouting and swearing and making a nuisance of myself around any kids. Like I said with idiot posts like this you do your club no favours trying to get bears fans to come back to your track. get your facts right before you accuse me next time

the least said about certain members of our promotion the better and i think you will find quite a few people who will say the same at our track. learning a few people skills wouldnt go a miss mind

Always love your posts mr nami, pleasant but needling I've never been one to criticise a rider as they are their to do a job, the promotor/manager puts the team together so the rights and wrongs I believe rest on their shoulders rather than the rider, not that you've mentioned that but thought I'd just say it for any rider bashers out their;) For the person who wonders why we call your stadium ruff park instead of brough park, think Sunderland and the stadium of ermm what's the swear word that rhymes with light again ? Nothing personal of course. Since Redcar started up we brought a lot of fans to ruff but because what has happened over recent years, women and kids being sworn at/threatened etc and general abuse I'm afraid to say you will find it hard to entice them back, not everyone forgives and forgets or is on fact willing too, not everyone has the cash to burn on speedway away meetings week in week out especially to see an egg cup trophy being lifted by an apposing side. We should have a pint sometime nami thee and me and put the speedway world to rights, I may look tuf but I'm really quite approachable

after thursdays home drubbing for the bears its 100% certain the tyne tees egg cup will go to the jawdees, i wont be their tonite as im on call with work and even if i wasnt i wouldnt be their either, reason 1, i hate rough park reason 2, i hate rough park any bears fans travelling enjoy, bears riders take care stay safe and please come back injury free

when your getting well beat at home it does seem a bit of a waste of money travelling up and down the country to watch your team get stuffed week in week out, i may sound a little fickle but 40 odd years of travelling everywhere to watch speedway does that too you. to be honest i was actually on call all this week (gritting) so i couldnt of made it even if i wanted to, but im sure you will see the travelling red army on their travels when the results come and the weather gets a ittle warmer

agreed, it seems some of you trainspotters have no sense of humour at all if your not slagging someone off, name calling or trying to prove a point your just their belittling people, what tossers some of you are

As a fan of both sports for well over 40 years I don't think it's that expensive. I used to have a season ticket at Middlesbrough football club right up untill mclaren was throwing bore draws up week after week and even though boro were in Europe at the time I stopped going when the bears came back into speedway. As humans were always going to complain about any money output especially when your teams not doing so well but I do think speedway promotors could do a bit more before during and after the meetings to add a bit more atmosphere and entertainment especially at Redcar as we don't even have start tarts anymore. I was always impressed with mildenhalls announcer as he wandered around interviewing riders and fans to keep people entertained, In the Cleveland park days we had star of the night after the meeting but these days your lucky to see the odd reserve going round the track when the meetings finished, we have had the odd meeting were the old boys go around with their old jap jawa and weskakes or the odd rally car giving us a demonstration around the track but I think promotors need to do things like this on a weekly basis to keep fans entertained as it not only would bring more revenue into the bar/food stalls with fans staying longer it would give us better value for money.

well maybes not in this thread huh ? whats your beef with me shadders ? i was only passing comment on robs decission, i havent seen the bloke for around 30 years (probably before more than half you lot started following speedway) and he was always pleasant with us always wanting to make an interview to tack on the end of the screen sport meetings. see its typical of this forum to take your comments out of context twisting them about before sticking them up your backside and holding them all against you but all i was trying to say was hes always been a decent bloke where ever middlesbrough tigers/bears were concerned. did i ask for abuse from mr silvers ? Come to Redcar rob as we would have you as announcer. I remember you interviewing us Middlesbrough tigers/bears on numerous occasions at away meetings for screen sport, better than the sky sports announcers any day

Not being funny but have you ever paid £15 in to a meeting and not enjoyed it because your constantly on your phone texting results ? It's a pain in the ass so I bow down to anybody who has the grace to be bothered to text results in even though their maybe the ODD mistake. Do you remember the 65p a minute phone lines that people had to get meeting updates off all those years ago before tinternet ? Well I do so getting them FREE these days is a blessing. It's a wonder people even bother putting updates up at all with so many whingers especially on this forum. Rant over

i used to ride are you guys all supporting the same team or is this some sort of local rivalry as you all come across like your all not supporting the same team. youve only been back 5 minutes and things take time to slot into place and im sure the promotion will sit up and take notice when they realize theyve started to lose their hardcore fan base because of poor racing/track conditions. sorry neb or is rob72 right ? nob you dont know me enough to mock me and by some of your posts you know very little about speedway yourself

personaly i think the dirt needs to be on the inside and outside to create more racing lines but what do i know ive only been going for 40 years

he actually rode for middlesbrough bears in the late 80s to early 90s i think it was
