  1. Absolutely. First and foremost I hope NK is ok but as soon as we find a 1-7 that works the next disaster strikes. It's typical of our fortune I'm afraid. But fight on we must.
  2. Well agree to disagree. Have a look at Berwick on Google Earth compared to other circuits, and how close the riders all are to eachother across the start line. It's narrow IMO.
  3. The Glasgow fans I've met are some of the nicest in speedway. If there was room for the straights to be twice as wide it'd be an awesome track, the entries and exits to what are pretty awesome bends are just too tight, its a shame. As for Berwick, their season looked pretty promising not that long ago but injuries have wrecked it, as well as Hume and Hodder going completely off the boil.
  4. Couple of things, who is claiming to be an expert on a thread which is essentially a bit of fun and why would folk change their minds when most sides haven't ridden half their fixtures yet?
  5. Cooper was appointed earlier today. With all due respect to the riders, I just don't think this Leicester team is very good.
  6. This poster has got a massive issue with Buster Chapman and consequently the stadium he owns. Best ignored.
  7. This has got Bomber written all over it. Bonus point as a minimum but need to win really.
  8. Lemon saying July 1st doesn't tally up if he's getting a ban, which he should be.
  9. Quite agree, it gets a bit boring reading it every time to be honest. Really enjoyed that, a good solid team effort with everyone winning a race and only three last places. Oxford weren't great but played their part in a good night's racing. Big thanks to Richard Lawson again who really buys into the team spirit and togetherness when he guests. Get Tobi back, keep everyone fit and we might be able to have a good go at finishing fourth. And then who knows.
  10. I think you've hit the nail on the head there.
  11. I agree with the vast majority of that but a quick acknowledgement to the winner especially after a good race really doesn't hurt.
  12. But but but......we were told he was gonna be out for months

  14. With three teams they can't really afford too many rain offs.
  15. According to the No Brakes No Fear podcast it's because of a childcare issue
  16. Exactly, most people don't seem to able to grasp that.
  17. It is a ban, Lynn have just sugar coated it. The most important thing for me as a Lynn fan is that relationship between club and rider is still good.

  19. It's more evidence for me that we are simply in the wrong league, if you can't successfully employ top riders for a full season then we need to be competing in the Championship.
  20. I think the writing was probably on the wall last week when a Lynn press release titled 'Injury Update' contained the following paragraph: 'Tobiasz is keen to be back with the PSH Environmental Stars as soon as he is fit, and hopefully this will be when the league campaign resumes at Leicester on June 13, but the club will not be putting undue pressure on him and will welcome him back when he is ready.' It would seem to me that somebody the Polish end (club or rider) is reluctant for TM to ride here again until he is 100% but that has to involve a 28 day ban if he doesnt ride on Thursday. Lynn are presumably reluctant to rock the boat and have him quit the club but we cant have the mickey taken out of Lynn and the league like that, a ban is going to hurt us massively but from a point of view of integrity he can't be riding for Ostrow and not Lynn.
  21. I think Mountain is a better rider than Kemp and is a former Lion (and Star) but Kemp ought to be fired up after his release from Leicester so he's a good choice too. Museilak really ought to be riding after scoring well and taking five rides in Poland last Friday.
  22. Connor Mountain the obvious choice to guest at reserve if he wants to do it, and you'd imagine the skipper should be back from injury.
  23. I think its down to the connection with former Lynn riders Tomas Topinka and Filip Sitera.
