King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions
Bagpuss replied to SamKM91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I tend to believe the ankle injury version of events, however IF that turns out to be lies and he tries to appear at Owlerton or the Foxhole I hope the BSPL still have enough integrity and balls to stop him from doing so. I would also add that if he is fibbing then I and most other Lynn fans would be far from impressed with the unprofessional way he conducts himself compared to many other riders we've had at Lynn and he'd be massively letting down the club, his team mates and the management and supporters having been made captain before the season started. -

I don't think you need to worry about that, he's Norfolk through and through -

Yet plenty do have have done so I'm not sure naming two riders holds much water really, especially when both are likely to have been under massive pressure from their Polush clubs. They absolutely shouldn't. If he's got an injured ankle tmand cant ride over here then he shouldn't be permitted to until 2025. It's all highly disappointing, he is the number one we've craved for a long time but he's been a massive let down for one reason or another. -

Musielak gone...... http://www.kingslynn-speedway.com/news.php?extend.31541.1 -
It's because when he's most recently done it the riders haven't fancied it anyway. Once again it's worth reiterating that the referee is the one who will have called off the meeting, presumably with the agreement if the riders, or at least most of them.
-
One which would have been made by the referee of course.
-
It's not that different though is it? Wide, fast, sweeping bends, loads of racing lines etc. There are plenty of other tracks in the UK which are nothing like either of them.
-
And plenty of bad ones. This could very much go either way, but if we ride like we have at home for much of the season and there are no last minute absences there's no reason we can't win tomorrow evening.

Scunny v Edinburgh D/H 28.06.2024
Bagpuss replied to ScunnyDan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
https://www.facebook.com/share/v/WnXfjR5pbNnRp5a7/ Just watched the race on Facebook, didn't see too much wrong from anyone really, was a good hard race and a bit of passion shown by everybody after the heat doesn't do any harm either. -
King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions
Bagpuss replied to SamKM91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Precisely, it's not about Play Offs or guesting or medals, it's purely and simply getting extra meetings when his other leagues slow down in order to keep racing and not be rusty for GPs. -
We've experienced the brutal reality of guests this week....you could make a strong argument that they won us the meeting on Monday and lost us the tie last night. As Rob said no lack of effort but those three guests were never going to match the riders they replaced. I'm convinced we'd have got 41 with a full side but we didn't and good luck to Sheffield against Hawkins and Co in the final.

I suspect you are probably right. But there should be a time limit IMO. -

Just going by what they've said about Covatti, Kurtz & Museilak recently. If Tobi keeps racing in Poland then they can't carry on giving us facilities, that'd be daft. Bit different with Klindt as his season is over full stop but there are riders around and after a certain time we should be made to sign one IMO. Guests and R/R need to be kept to a minimum. -

They'll have to sign somebody eventually, facilities aren't indefinite. I'd be shocked if Tobi isn't back anyway, assuming he stays fit. -

He's due to ride for Krosno Sunday, no doubt after Tuesday's knock they've advised him to rest until Sunday to make sure he's fit. -

I'm always nervous of R/R, I'd go with Brennan & Worrall if possible. -

I wonder if there is a Robert Lambert size hole to replace Nicolai? -
Great meeting.

Get in. A big thank you to the guests, but it's daft that Tungate's max tonight could in theory ultimately cost Oxford a play off place and sneak Lynn in. Bonkers. Need more from the reserves going forward but a very pleasing evening. On to Sheffield we go. -

Fans aren't in the pits, they are outside looking in over a metal barrier. Gives a really good view of the home riders. -

Absolutely. First and foremost I hope NK is ok but as soon as we find a 1-7 that works the next disaster strikes. It's typical of our fortune I'm afraid. But fight on we must.
