  1. Anders told us on the PotE podcast that he likes it as grippy as possible so I think you're right, and I can't see Cook and Hagon being as comfortable if there is plenty on. If we gate well we'll win comfortably, simple as that really. Brum are poor but Leicester aren't much better IMO.
  2. Not for me, Fricke and Lawson will be a nuisance but I think we'll dominate them at reserve and if the rest ride like they did a couple of weeks ago we'll be fine, might even get the bonus.

  5. Sad news this morning that legendary Norfolk and Cambridgeshire sport journalist Edwin Overland has died, to many he was the voice of King's Lynn speedway https://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport/football/peterborough-united/broadcasting-legend-known-for-peterborough-united-and-speedway-coverage-passes-away-4693737
  6. What's the anger all about this morning Ian? Take a seat on the couch and tell us all about it.
  7. It's a fair point but Tungate is averaging nearly eight and a half, I'd say the two are cancelling eachother out in terms of expectations. As a team they are performing pretty much as I expected, ie battling for 4th.
  8. The irony of this coming from somebody who sticks their oar in left, right and centre on this forum won't be lost on anybody I'm sure.
  9. The postponement in question for Lynn was never about the weather though, it was announced by the club at the time that it was due to missing riders.
  10. That decision is an absolute shocker, and has handed Oxford what could be a vital point.
  11. Yep, keep riding like that and we've got every chance. Sounds like lots of effort is being put into trying to replace Museilak & Klindt too so plenty to race for. Brum weren't great tonight but contributed to a good night's racing, all twelve riders gave their all right up to the final few yards of heat 15.

  13. I'd say the majority of people are somewhere in between Happy Clapper and Negative Nigel. Would agree thatvwe belong in the second tier, I think that's become more obvious over the last few seasons.
  14. People need to stop biting, they are a wind up merchant. Stick it on ignore if you need to.
  15. From what I gather the issues that the new promoter had were nothing to do with speedway let alone Buster.
  16. Have they? I've not read that anywhere, just that he has 'withdrawn from the team'.
  17. I can't believe an Ipswich fan can comment on a rider having a bad night at the NSS with a straight face
  18. That's a good solid score chart from Plymouth.
  19. Thanks, its all the supporters who are the losers. I'd like to see a return to the second division where Polish clubs can't mess us about personally. I'd have thought Lewi Kerr would be ahead of Z Cook in any list of potential signings but who knows.
  20. That one was old and boring about twenty years ago.
