  1. In which case Lynn really haven't got a leg to stand on, and why on earth was the original rained off fixture rearranged for that date?
  2. That was my understanding too. It's quite clear they do whatever they like. This Lynn/Leicester meeting was obviously rearranged at a time when Wojdylo wasn't riding anywhere.
  3. Seems to me that the fault for the confusion lies with the BSPL for using the phrase 'tapes up' for the start of the meeting. 'Parade at a,b,c and first race at x,y,z' would clear it all up. All of a bit of a mountain out of a molehill really though.
  4. I think the whole basis of the call off and Lynn's grievance is that the Polish meetings have been arranged at short notice and the Leicester meeting rearranged to an evening where Wojdylo was (and should be) available. All this talk of if he'd been injured and only two riders being missing (the press release states that the Museilak injury is irrelevant to their stance) doesn't really matter. Not saying I agree with it as I'm trying to get my head round it still but having seen his performance last week and how important he is to the team at the moment you can see why Lynn don't want to run without him when he's not injured.
  5. I think the idea that Plymouth are going to have the racing surface perfect two or three meetings in after the wettest winter on record is fanciful. If you folk don't like the shape then fair enough but the surface is bound to improve with time and the weather.
  6. Pawlicki was brilliant at Lynn last time yet dire on Thursday so I'm mot sure it means too much, he's a different rider nowadays.
  7. Mate, you've made your point, it's getting a little bit boring now.
  8. Polish Championship as in individual? If you want to sum up our season in one situation then that's it, the guy who scores 18 one week is unavailable the next with only 4.6 to get a guest in
  9. Recently in the NL I'd agree but when they were in the Premier League 2006-08 it was fantastic.
  10. With the caveat that it's only been from seven rides, including two FX's.
  11. What a difference 24 hours makes for both sides. A bit of a reality check for Workington perhaps. Well done Jason Edwards, the nicest man in speedway.
  12. What's the deadline for declaring a team for a meeting?
  13. I think I might have been standing next to you that day. Broke the track record in heat one didn't he?
  14. Poole Keith obviously means other stronger leagues abroad. Boils down to ambition at the end of the day.
  15. We are around 2.6 points under the limit, if for example we could find an 7 ish point rider willing to come to replace MPT (a huge IF of course) it changes the side completely. But they are hardly queuing up unfortunately.
  16. They still won't finish eighth but I think I had them top and they certainly won't be doing that either. It's the middle order where they are struggling, most thought Bailey would kick on again after last year and Knudsen has been very hit and miss, Jorgensen would have been much more reliable at 2 or 4 if fit. And of course the falls and knocks suffered by Wright & King haven't helped either. Riss would certainly help their cause but I suspect he'll end up elsewhere.
  17. Brennan only missed out on a max at Lynn on Thursday by a whisker and we were saying on the terraces how changing his two home tracks seems to have helped take him to the next level. There will be other factors too and he might have done the same if he was still at Glasgow and/or BV but changing a comfortable/familiar environment often works. As for Worrall he'll get it right as he's too good not to but three ain't good enough.
  18. You feel like Worky missed an opportunity tonight, but well done Glasgow for pulling through despite Worrall's score. Bomber like a fine wine!
  19. I predicted Lynn to get 40 on the podcast the other night but that was with Museilak riding and R/R for King.....think we might be lucky to get 30 in the circumstances.
  20. Pickering the most likely I'd have thought.
  21. You are quite right, thank you. Need to remember my glasses when reading the British Speedway site and it's font Very likely to be Bomber then.
  22. Like I said, realistic guests Can't see Buster paying for those.
  23. Great win and Wojdylo was sensational (as was Brennan) but tje prospect of being without Museilak for 4-6 weeks is pretty depressing with such a busy time coming up. We need to go with guests, R/R just won't cut it and the best/most realistic options look to be Pickering, Douglas and Harris when available. Only Brum not riding next Thursdsy so I hope Rob spoke to Brennan before he drove away last night! Hope I'm wrong but just feels like a typical Lynn season of injuries, team changes and big away defeats.
  24. A win! Hurrah. And a new hero.
