  1. I mean it's got 365 boxes to write things in divided by twelve pages so I reckon a calendar it is 😁
  2. We do! Use the one on my phone but having a physical one on display in the kitchen with columns for all four family members for their stuff is a great tool for not forgetting stuff. Plus a pouch at the bottom for letters etc!
  3. IPSWICH - clearly the strongest team on paper and if not decimated by injuries this time should top the table comfortably. BELLE VUE another strong team assembled in M12 with potential lower down the order, would expect the Aces to meet the Witches in the final all things being equal SHEFFIELD clear vulnerabilities at reserve but their top four will win plenty of meetings especially at home KING'S LYNN always going to have a strong reserve and should be difficult to beat at the AFA but heats 13 and 15 look tough work on the road. Could be a tight scrap for 4th but I'm being biased and plumping for my own team 😁 LEICESTER very similar line up to last year but Howarth doesn't adequately replace Lawson for me and can Cook be relied upon across a whole season? BIRMINGHAM a vast improvement on last season's side, you just wonder whether 100% will be given by everyone team member every week. If it is they could crash the top four and be dark horses OXFORD Gusts is an exciting signing but they look 7th strongest to me without changes
  4. Pride of the East podcast all about the Young Stars in 2025, with guests Jason Pipe, Jody Scott, Callum Mitchell & Cooper Rushen: https://x.com/PrideOfTheEast/status/1880905837801361774?t=RIA9VqoJ5DsyoVcwjKfMZQ&s=19
  5. He'll put the wind up the opposition.
  6. I guess you do but I've always been of the mind that if you are going up to the limit for the sake of it and shoe horning in an unsuitable rider or submitting to somebody asking ridiculous money then it can be a fools errand. Voulas and Jeppesen potentially have serious improvement in them, to leave one of them out for someone who has a higher average but not much else going for them in comparison would be silly IMO. Getting the right blend of riders is more important.
  7. Not sure it was ever in their possession to lose.
  8. Glasgow Poole Redcar Scunthorpe Oxford Workington Berwick Edinburgh Plymouth
  9. I don't think that would be the case anyway. If I was a fan of Poole (retch) or any other second division side there would be at least one rider in every Prem team I'd want to see at my track.
  10. Good move for rider and club, but I do wonder what will happen if/when he gets a gig in Poland?
  11. Because there is a reasonably new member who posts with remarkably similar traits/characteristics.
  12. @jenga clearly still on here under a different guise
  13. Yep I'd agree with that. I've not been for a few years and ironically was probably going to make the effort in 2025 but costs going up and crowds going down was only ever going to end one way. Feel for those who have lost money on hotels and whether they should have covered their own backsides is another argument, at the end of the day if a speedway event with a roof is scheduled then it's extremely rare for it to not go ahead. On the bright side we should get two excellent meetings in Manchester if the weather behaves. Hope to be there for one of them if ticket prices are sensible.
  14. Love that line up, can't wait to see the Young Stars in action.
  15. http://www.kingslynn-speedway.com/_mobile/news.php?extend.31601
  16. I reckon I'll be partaking in one for the first time since the Waggy years, very decent value.
  17. I think official club phone apps are long overdue for people who use their phones quite a bit. You could have a buyable digital version of the programme on there with a scorechart which can be filled in on the night and the news / club info that the website has plus extras for those who are prepared to pay for a premium service.
  18. Bad timing considering they've just scored ten in a week and are the top scorers in the top two divisions 😁
  19. I mean you are kind of arguing against yourself but I quite agree.
  20. Apologies for that, wasn't my finest hour. Not in a sulk, just needed to get away for a bit. When an internet forum starts to affect your mood/mental state/health etc it's time to have a break. Back now refreshed and looking forward to 2025. Merry Christmas! 🎅
  21. Disagree with a fair bit of that. I think riding in the GP's and Extraliga could propel Kurtz onto the next level. He has always been very committed to BV. Bewley has improvement in him. Lisdey is on an attractive average, assume he finished behind Cook a lot last season considering their respective averages. Agree he needs to be better away. Blodorn is still young and Zischke could have a very big season if he avoids injury, he's a very exciting talent. Take on board what you say about Cook & Mulford but overall I think they can give a full strength Ippo a run for their money over two legs. There you go @AceBelle that's how you do it without behaving like you're in the playground 👍
