It probably could, i mean have you seen the amount of Poles that go to Cardiff who are actually living and working in the UK. Then you would have the fans that travel and also the UK speedway fans that just want to see the worlds best nations going at it.

It isnt really a financial risk for Denmark and Poland as you can pretty much bet your house that they will be in the final therefore the fans will turn out to see it. Whereas in England where things aint so certain it could be called a risk.

Why do you feel the need to come on and claim it to be a "useless thread"? So you dont think it will happen, im pretty sure you could have made that point without calling things "useless". I myself dont think it will happen and certainly wouldnt be going to watch it.

And proud What would everyone be saying if a rider had hit the bike and was now lay in hospital? Should Gollob then have been banned? What does a rider have to do to be banned? or should they never be banned as that would be robbing the paying public? I would feel more robbed to have to sit and watch the cheat on track. EDIT i dont think cheat is the right word. But as its late/early and i have just done a long journey i cant be bothered thinking too hard.

I think 5 from one qualifying round is too many why not had 3 "GP Challenges" first two from each get a GP place.

There was a rider once (cant remember the name off the top off my head sorry) He hit the fence and bounced down into the centre green where he hit a stationary tractor and unfortunately was killed. Anything could have happened with Gollobs bike. Hindsight is a great thing.

No he wouldnt. He would have still failed to qualify. As the next qualifier wouldnt be at his home track. That shows you that Harris isnt upto it, he had home track advantage and still didnt make it.

Maybe adding the once only rule could help this situation. But then wouldnt that force young lads and lesser riders to be thrown in so a nation can use the wildcard/seed?

Should riders really have a "free lunch" pass handed to them? Why not the top X riders go through (thats a no brainer) and the rest of the places filled via qualifiers.

There is no need for me to take that comment back, it was in no way offensive to anyone at all. You are making the point that no one was injured so he shouldnt be banned. Im asking you should we let riders away with what ever they want until we have a major accident and then act on it. Speedway is dangerous enough as it is without pig ignorant riders making it even more so with petulant and immature and down right disrepectful behaviour.

My honest answer..... No one. As none of them are good enough to be there. Maybe in 2 or 3 years Tai may be at that level but as of right now they all fall short of what is required IMO

I hope it is Zagar. Very much like Hans in the sense he is great on track but is also a good guy and character off it. I cant see Lindback being picked ahead of Lindgren. Hans wont be left out as even though he had one bad year he is one of the worlds best and is captain of one of the greatest speedway nations on the planet.

So we let riders get away with what ever they want and only punish them AFTER someone is injured or killed. What a great place speedway would be with you making the rules.

I wont disagree with that. As someone pointed out Emil and Scottys punch up could be seen as worse, but they didnt endanger other riders lifes in doing so. Saying someone isnt good enough is hardly "slating" them. You will also find that there are plenty of English saying the same as i am. Also a debate/conversation is had by pointing out what you disagree with and putting your point across as to why you disagree. If you watched the race and actually knew anything about speedway you would see that Gollob shut off after the Nicki P incident and was busy waving at the ref its at that point that all attention would have been on the 3 riders racing who were at the other side of the track when Gollob left his bike. So wind yer neck in.

You answered your own question, they are GP quality. Lets not forget a GP series isnt one night on one track. Its about who can be competitive on many varied tracks over a full season.

He did try and all credit to him for doing so. But, and this is where i think our views differ. He didnt make it and is not a GP quality rider. The riders that finish top 8 should be back whether we feel they are GP standard or not as they earned it. The qualifiers from the GP challenge deserve to be there whether we feel they are GP standard or not as they also deserved it. But the W/Cs should only be given to riders who are deemed to be of GP quality and not to riders simply because they tried to qualify but failed IMO. This for me includes Hans and Freddie but sadly not Chris.

So why not put in the riders from other nations that are better than Tai for "marvellous GP experience"? Why should Tai have special treatment. He is nothing special when compared to the guys on the GP circuit lets remember this. It isnt PL or weakened EL racing we are talking about here. This is the best that the world has to offer (on most part) Tai would be chewed up and spat out. Holder said he didnt feel he had the right equipment therefore he would wait a year, what a mature outlook that was for someone who could have got carried away with the attention.
