  1. could you point out how he has tried to screw up others chances?
  2. your wrong again had Danny ``asked ``to be stood down he would NOT Have been banned from riding for Coventry
  3. indeed you are right, but with NL guest you never know, nand i know for a fact that the promotion thought is best to take the lad out of the firing line, and to be fair if they thought it would make scunny stronger tehn it would [and maybe should have been] done weeks ago i do feel if you had seen the home match against Sheffield last week you would understand where im coming from seeing his confidence shot to bits and fans on his back if no way to carry on and giving a few NL lads the chance in the next 2 or 3 meetings is no bad thing as far as im aware Rowe wasnt the only rider lined up,several would have been given the chance which is a good thing
  4. from what i hear there was no insistance that Phillips was reinstated
  5. that is where you are wrong,i fail to see any rider in the NL that can make scunny stronger, but you never know either, one rider may just hit the ground running and if you had heard the crowd last week, which i dont think you would have, then im sure you would agree with taking Danny out, some of the things said were unpleasant and un called for and no-one deserves that
  6. there really is no wonder your own team promotion banned you in all honesty..what is it that say about glass house and stones?
  7. he was excellent last night, gated like a train and mega fast once in front, and some of his line showed balls of steel, great to watch with regard that heat 15,Auty and Allen will get the praise and rightly so but Rasmus deserves alot of credit even tho went from a clear first to 3rd,he did everything possible
  8. because ,im told[ but not straight from the horses mouth so to speak],that, the SCB threatened a fine for bringing speedway into distripute,so to avoid the fine Danny was put back in how the hell taking a lad out of the firing line and giving another youngster the chance is doing that ill never know,it was clearly visable last night the lad is really struggling and with several NL riders calling desperate for the a change in the CL i makes it all the more stupid fair play to Phillips for turning up i guess, so dispite being totally off the pace last night again credit due to him for that
  9. That is not correct, the BSPA did not block the move it was the SCB who was involved
  10. id say protecting them for up coming meetings, which was a smart thing to do if the case Dispite coming 3rd in heat 15 Rasmus rode a blinder in that heat, an what a race it was
  11. it isnt an illegal move to fire a rider, you just cant redeclare your 1-7
  12. thats simply not true you can fire anyone at at anytime you just cant re declare and have to use NL guests
  13. Rumoured....correct i think if you look at the timing Scunny didnt have a Friday fixture without being back to full strength so what was you excuse being being late last year? was that Scunnys fault too?
  14. although you are correct,Workington actually pulled two home meeting themselves[ which i agree was 100% right thing to do] due to rider availablity, and one/some of the agrred Friday fixtures had riders missing due to other things such as U21`S SGP quals etc and it wouldnt have been impossible for the previous mentioned fixture bonanaza as the meetings im speaking of were home fixtures, not affect on the Comets at all An after playing catch up last year seems no lessons have been learned by anyone im not sure when they were pulled but looking back it seems late June/early July
  15. you didnt start the season until 14/4 and ran two meetings up to the start of June you were behind on fixtures from the get go,,,,,,and same as last season, playing catch up now dont get me wrong,i dont really agrree with the call to pull your fixtures,i think it was unfair, but the blame cannot be soley laid at not being allowed to run on those two or three fridays 2 meetings by 1st june at Derwent Park whereas Scunny ran 5,Sheff ran 6,Redcar 6,Berwick 6,P`Boro 5 there lies the problem but to add some balance i dont know about Satium availablity during the first 2 months of the season
  16. why did you take Dale Lamb to Glasgow on a Friday earlier in the season? ironic isnt it
  17. Fabulous meeting on a fabulous race track and that heat 13 wow just wow
  18. indeed..a fine season and an interesting fixture head,Scunny judged edged in on ag in the league but be closer this time i feel
  19. strange i thought the payment problems were reported before the moving of race nights?
  20. I would say Fridays performance has alot to do with it,the lad was way off the pace and the crowd were getting on his back which is quite unpleasant to see and hear Scunny fans are normally quite a calm lot but what i heard on Friday was not good,im pleased hes out of the firing line to be honest
  21. Tom Bacon`s performance earlier in the season at Scunny was one of the best performances ive seen by a visiting rider this season, the lad was excellent
  22. to be fair Bickley seems to be showing signs of improvement now which is good, where as Danny was going backwards recently
