  1. Riding for free or paid, makes no odds,i believe what heathen is saying is correct,he shouldnt have been riding in NL due to paper work thingy
  2. The point about certain people from Scunthorpe's hypocrisy isn't lost on me. When they were putting out super strength teams (and paying over the odds to do it) I didn't hear them complaining then and can imagine the reaction if someone had. Didnt realise you were scunthorpe,s accountant as you must be please tell us all what they were payed then, clever sh;T
  3. Scunny web site has it as a Home against the I.O.W,think that Dudley have been in the League
  4. I believe the Scunny management did query his eligibility but due to it being work permits and visa`s,no-one really knew what the score was,i believe scunny rode "under protest" what ever that means?
  5. RB,where was it that i was all Nelson Nelson Nelson,i was nothing of the sort,i was having a bit of fun with Sheffield, pointing out that he was now with Rye I was tipped of he was riding on Saturday and that there were question being asked from many teams, most of which have been aired on here Seems still that the Tyson shouldnt have ben riding Once a work permit has been applied for you loose the status of "holiday type visa" so im told???
  6. So what about heat 11,?didnt Nelson take the place of a young Brit?
  7. What a load of crap, fact is he wasnt at Reserve for the saints, and the way scunny build teams, even if the lad was in,he would be heat leader, not reserve I seem scuny were riding under protest and i think Jaynes posts further back on this thread about the holiday type visa is correct One other thing about Aussie lads in the league is how the hell do they go in the PL on a 5 yet NL on a 6 If a brit had an average of 5 in the Pl wouldnt he come in the NL on a 10?
  8. Seems Uncle Len pulled a fast one there then, the kid is good, very good, cant take that away from him, but, how wrong is it that he can come in at reserve on a bloody flash of a passport!!!!! Special word for Ben Morley, young British lad, making his way at reserve in The British National Development League, get shoved up in to main body of team to fit Nelson in,then with the match all but won, gets taken out of his ride in heat 11,replaced by an Aussie Drives all the bloody way to scunny on a sunday night to be taken out of a ride, that is out of order,Morley look really good on a bike and didnt deserve that Good Luck Ben,i hope you are treated better in the future
  9. Ok,so does that mean he cant ride at Scunny today then Jayne?
  10. They can ride on a "holiday visa/permit thingy" Any one coming over from sheff,it a lovely afternoon and a well stocked Bar to drown your sorrows
  11. I wouldnt be so sure, think some folk in Sheffield are gonna be very unhappy when the see the rye house team today!!!!!
  12. yep clearly you have no idea,i respect your honesty
  13. Fantastic, another scunny debutant also i hear, great news for speedway that the sport is getting talent like it is.seen this lad go from helping out his brother to a cruise missile out the gate and very natural style in about 8 weeks Good luck and safe trip[dont miss the bloody boat either]
  14. They have to start as one of the teams to beat thats for sure, they wil be there or there abouts, Parker/Cathercole should be up there too along with Howe/Karlsson,an interesting night
  15. Has anyone bothered to check the averages to make sure this team change is legal. I have and Tom perrys average has strangely stayed on a 3 when he quite clearly should have had an average near seven on june 7th makeing the team change ile gal
  16. Was it bad call for him to leave scunny and sign for Coventry?
  17. er cough Adam ALLOTT just remember you started it
  18. what you pay all yours £10 a point and 10 pence a mile then? think not
  19. Agreed but you can can look at it another way,Both Plymouth and Weymouth have had a tonking by a very in-experienced scunny team in the last few weeks and the likes of Worrall and Birks will have enjoyed and take great experience from riding against Stephens,Simmonds,Brown and Bekker And the youngsters in these teams will get good info etc from the more experience riders in there teams such as Buzz and Compton
  20. Shocking treatment of a Brit in the British Development league, really feel for James as hes a good kid,if this Dyer lad is as good as they say,why aint Brum got him at reserve??? When James left scunny last year after being round for years at the EWR i did wonder if it would end in tears
  21. You aint going to win i would think next best i would say
