  1. Can someone explain to me why they continue to try and get the NLRC and the fours on at a place whos season isnt over yet, most track are finished and im sure there is one that could host these events?
  2. Tai had a near vertical rise to where he is now and i guess it was always going to level out for him a bit after what happened to his dear old dad,tai will come good again,of that i have no doubt,he is a talent thats for sure
  3. top meeting last night, there is something fantastic about these youngsters racing, just a shame a few more didnt turn up to see them Fair play to Tommy for winning the meeting and getting on the pa to tell everyone he had signed, great to see Ben Morley really looked quite a talent, would love to see him ride for the saints next year!!! For the rest,Irving was as entertaining as ever and Richie Worrall,WOW,i could watch him all day!!!! Hope the injured lads are ok
  4. i could be wrong, but as i see it,it got nowt to do with the speedway top brass about Aussies etc in NL,it the borders agency that is ruling them out If i have read it correct, there isnt a work permit or visa what ever you want to call it out there that will permit these chaps skidding in the NL
  5. Great that this meeting is happening, should be good, after being entertained by the saints all season, will be nice to see them pitched against each other and against the team viking chappies
  6. I thought Morris would have done more this year,i se his average is just over 5,after the huge strides he made last year i expected him to be higher than that, still a great prospect tho im Bias but either Worralls and Birks, for less that a year on a bike, have to be up there as the biggest improvers
  7. No,but Man UTD are in the competion to defend it So by your statement if you want the plrc to be decided on merit, shouldnt it be the best 16 riders in the league, not the best from each club????
  8. I think Ashworth should had been given on of the two wild cards,as champion, the lad should have the chance to defend it,like any other sport
  9. Does any one have any scores from tonights match at Redcar?
  10. Dumb ass response!!! is the league meant ofr rider to learn the trade and get a start??
  11. What if some british road racer or moto x rider gets to the age of 25 and thinks sod it,im going to race speedway??????????????
  12. Well done to all the scunny lads, a great one/two for the saints Really pleased Gary Irving got himself a title before the season closes, really deserved it for his pure entertainment he has given this year at scunny Fair play to Sheffield for putting on this meeting for these young lads to have a go too, shame there isnt more of these type of meetings Just gutted i couldnt make it
  13. i thing maybe the reason for this is,if i have read the stuff correct, with the current work permits/visa`s that are about these days, thay shouldnt be in it this year Maybe the boarders agency will make the decision for the BSPA or SCB for them
  14. great line up,looking forward to this one,The NL has been quite fantastic at Scunny this year so see no reason why this cant be the the same Good luck to the scunny lads
  15. good line up coming together here, will be coming over to the owl hut for this one, looking forward to it
  16. Well looking at the evidence etc it seems that maybe the BSPA would be shyte scared to do anything as it looks like they would have to remove all Marks points, as,if i have read it correct, shouldnt be in the NL,i guess it would cause them a bit of work and make them look like they dont know the rules, and they wouldnt want that............would they?
  17. So,in simple terms, with the visa Mark had,he shouldnt have been riding in the NL?am i right?
  18. Yes the Tyson Nelson affair!!!!!!
  19. Thw whiter than white one was at scunny in 2008 not boston
  20. Was it 2008 Darcy came over and did he finish the season or did he go home before then end?
  21. As i see this,if you have a "youth mobility visa" or "holiday visa" as some call it,you cant ride in the NDL.proved by tyson nelson other option is a full blown "work permit",which again i believe you cant use in the NDL [eg Kurt Sheilds couldnt ride in NL], but is fine for PL and EL as the permit permits the said person to earn on a professional basis If, as i read it,and have been told is true ,does that make a problem with Dyer,Kurtz etc?
  22. Dave, does that include Aussies that are brits when it suits them?
