So you think its wrong we kept together a group or riders who had been a great success, this whole team got us into the play offs, not one rider!!!! Were you one of the baffoons on the Save the fentigers facebook page during the spring slagging R.G of for kicking you out of the league??when the whole time they were trying to push through a deal that involved the current promotion???
-
Still not got over Josh leaving Spinny??? or is it the the major power shift between to the two steel citys that making you feel un-well??
-
Bit unfair that HT,Wayne Carter and Buzz came in to do a certain job within the team,a bit you could say like Lee Smethills this year, add Sarjeant,Morris,Howarth,Worralls,Briks,Irving,Wrathall,Nilsson,Tully,Auty,Haines and Woffy plus many others,it hardly points towards win at all cost This years team are a classic example of NL speedway at its best

Quite how you think its a farce is beyond me,without this partnership/cost sharing,im sure the mighty Sainst wouldn`t have ran this year, now, one year on,they are in a Play of Final, some farce is that!!!!!! Go the Saints!!!

Many from Sheffield making there way over for this Squall???

It does look a good pair of fixtures this,my feeling is alot depends on Gary Irving`s fitness, wether he rides or not has he can rack up big points at the EWR Either way im looking for ward to it

A huge well done the the Mighty Saints on reaching the final,it doesnt seem 5 mins since i was watching most of that team trying to slide a bike for the first time on wet tracks during the winter AM meeting, now all sitting on 8 plus averages and in the NL final Superb effort by the colts last night, picked up the vital points and kept it close,Howarth was very impresive right through the meeting, his race in heat 13 with the hard charging Birks was as good as you will see Quite why Garity wanted to fight with a lady at the pit gate after heat 15 is beyond me,he really is such a talent but lets himself down with situations like that. On to a tough meeting now against the Fentigers!!! -

Would you been so kind as to point out where i have caalled the colts "SOFT",i pointed out the visable differences between the to teams, which is true TMW,where were you last thursday, were you there??? Im not saying the meeting should or should not have been run,i dont ride a bike so can`t comment really, but i stand by what i said, one team seemed to want it,the other didnt??? -

Its a shame that Bekker and McKinna are injured, the latter rode really well last time at Scunny, but Bekker was poor when guesting, but dont forget Scunny are without Oliver and Irving, who is as a good a rider around the EWR as there is in this league -

But to be fair, that wasnt a play off semi final, and with both teams needing to get the meeting in,both the Saints and The Colts blooded some rookies, was great meeting to -
Which was the Scunny meeting HT??? Some of the best tracing at Scunny in the last 2 years has been at NL level,i think last year it was Saints v Young Stars,on a track that was a as slick as a track can get, produced 15 heats of top class racing, with heat 15 Buzz and Lambert going at each other, that was still one of the best races i have even seen, only thing wrong with it it only lasted 4 laps!!! Edit:sorry,it wasnt the Young Stars,it was Buxton,Lambert was guesting

i said it could make you stronger by using guest for Joe,PJL from redcar could do a job,and Richies away average for you is 2.48,so yes it COULD make you stronger,im didnt say it would -

So you could use a guest for Joe up to 4.31 and Nl rider for Richie someone like Lewi Kerr and Pickard, could even make you stronger!! -

Trouble is,if PL teams have to release rider for the NL they would never sign them in the first place, plus would rider want to miss out on the extra pay they get riding for there PL teams?I doubt it End of the day, riders who have stepped up is what the league is all about And you could argue that, the play off gives the chance to teams to win the league, who maybe, due to riders not being available due to PL teams, work or even exams in some cases. Scunny and Belle Vue for example this year have maybe never raced a meeting at full strenght but have made it to the play offs, now, they can go for it Plus, some of the NL teams loose money,so the play offs give the promotions the chance to balance the books as well a create some excitment,The Stoke and Mildenhall POSF proved this -

i agree but i dont think its the riders i think it more running in direct competion against your nearest team,i.e they try not to take bums on seat of each other, which to be honest is the right thing to do,i would say also a few from Sheff will wanna come see the Saints/prolers try and progress to the final as well as seeing there team against the USA Its a tough one either way but looking at he pictures from Owlerton, they will do well to sort that track with the weather that is around at the moment -
Agree!!

Portgunner,i really cant be arsed with you as you come out with utter rubbish but im bored in the office and on days like this i enjoy replying to folk with very little inteligence, its easy as i dont need to engage my brain for once Yes Scunny did need a team manager but MV was doing a great job with the Saints so why change it,and yes we did bring in a new manager for the NL,but only when MV had left for Stoke Who turned Stoke down i have no idea, but wasnt it financial reason Stoke stepped down with the idea of trying to rebuild??? Its quite obvious you have it in for MV,i wonder why? please be so kind as to reply with fact rather than what your mind can twist from the truth!!
