  1. He always has lookd the part around Scunny has Bunyan, when riding for IOW and Stoke alot of the times blasting around the outside he was class Unlucky E.F last night cocked his score up but always like to see him ride Scunny, seems to like some dirt and grip
  2. i would think he not the only one and if offers came in they would be out like a flash
  3. I forgot to mention the 125`s last night, brilliant, each one of them and great to see
  4. I wasnt aware the league champions had been declared yet,Newcastle finished top of the qualification table but didnt think they were the true league champions........... I bet the promotions of the other play off teams went to bed with big smile last night
  5. Fine win for Scunny this evening with MPT again showing what great entertainment speedway can be,great to see Best wishes to C.C after what look at nasty spill, from where i was stood he looked like he jumped ship before any really damage was done,i hope that was the case, fair play to "20 bensons",rode with balls and skill,a good effort
  6. Those four have prob been the best 4 Nl lads in the PL to, now ladS like Morris Blackbird Kerr,Jacobs Nielsen etc have to follow them and step up to the the plate, its what is needed, the more riders stepping up is a great way to make the NL prosper Well dont to Ash Birks,a nicer lad you will not meet and deserves all he gets out of the sport
  7. Interesting to hear the views from the Leicester promotion last night on the radio about the PL play off groups,Newcastle picking the two furthest away tracks and which then left the other side of the group with some hefty travel bills and basically took out the number who will travel to the meetings Although Newcasstle had every right to pick who they wanted, for the fans and clubs finances it was a stupid move
  8. This group of Scunny Worky and Edinburgh could easily go down to points difference, all three teams are strong at home so theres a good chance there will be no away points scored
  9. Is it just me or does the whole of British speedway feel sorry for the Ipo fans having such a twht among them Good post, and a team that most fancied at the start of year
  10. About the same amount then that would love to punch your light out at times then.. What is your gripe with the crowd levels at Scunny, you said i shouldnt worry about stuff yet this issue really seems to worry you The sad thing thing is i get the feeling that in your sad little mind you actually like crowd numbers to fall and clubs to struggle Which team is it you follow in the north,i never did quite catch that???
  11. it will be interesting to see how many folk will pay 23 and 25 for these double headers,i no they have to be done but at those prices is it enough for the promotions to cover cost, and is it to much for punters to pay??
  12. Add in at Somerset you get some racing and a nice track........
  13. Is it a farce though when Rye had chance of running this meeting to get into playoff?? I agree Morrish has his faults but can you put the blame on him for not running in the run up to the cut off date??
  14. Its a tough ask to win at Armadale again thats for sure, theres 6 good teams the the play off groups and any of them could go either way Is there tac rides in the play offs??,this could be the difference between these teams
  15. It wasnt, cut off date was 4 days after Rye won there, cut of date was last Wednesday i think
  16. They say time is a healer but your still at t i t What has running 24/7 got to do with crowds???
  17. Interesting date with the PL play offs in mind,Newcastle Sunday track,Scunny and maybe Leicester having to race on the off night which now seems to be sundays, could chuck another fixture nightmare into the pot...dam weather
  18. Although you have a point about the running of the league,a change is needed,i still cant see why, with the date already extended to last wednesday, and with 4 empty dates,if the rye house promotion wanted the team in the play offs he could have run it one way or another. And as to questioning Len,if one of his riders ,your grandson i believe, cant ask him then its a bad job, As Vog rightly says Stoke did two on the trot to get them in If for financial reasons Mr Silver didnt want to loose anymore money running the NL,well to be honest i cant really argue with that either
  19. I think also this was done at the request of the riders, which if thats there view then you have to respect it,after all its them nutters that scream in to the corner at Sheff and a hell of a rate
  20. Did you ask Len why he didnt run this before the cut off date??,the four day previous to the cut of date? I feel for the youngsters at Rye house, they have done realy well this year
  21. Four lots of riders 2 pay 2 x home and 2 x away from one gate takings,i wouldnt want it thats a fact
