Referee Just Bottled Semi Decision
montie replied to TheReturn's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Holder should have gone no doubt about it,but over the season he has been the best rider and deserves to be World Champ so well done to him Just wish someone had hit his waste of a work permit brother when he got involved in something he shouldnt have Great GP to finish with and congrats to Holder, deserved what he now has,a great rider he is -
Wether Nick is injured or not,we all saw what was a heavy crash on TV so i have no reason to believe he isnt,i was relieved when he got up from it to be honest but seems he hurt himself You could argue that if injured,it was a rather foolish thing to do to book a flight to Poland during the night and go to the GP,it doesnt look very good ,but he 18 and can do as he likes, you would think tho that as hes living with Rosco,he may have shown a bit of sense rather than taking Nick with him to Poland,or at least asked him to stay home and rest or get treatment Be interesting to see if he rides on Monday night

After the expense of winning the PL  a team build on own assets to keep cost down but still do ok Auty pure entertainment Birks nicest kid in speedway and more to come Jorgensen Class say no more MPT great lad, great to watch and RG`S night watchman Wilkinson Crowd favourite and EWR specialist R.Worrall one of the brightest prospects for many a year, one last blast in the PL before bigger and better things Aarino Rides scunny really well, low average that could go back to 6.5ish he started on Wilko and Mpt at reserve Build i think in a sensible way when it come to finance in speedway these days

I agree but i guess that you could say that by knowing the rules, like we do at the start of the season or before a meeting, you could say that it is fair In straight shoot out matches home and away like you had on sunday,i dont think there should be tac rides, but in a run of the mill league meeting well,we all want to see close scores as much as possible so maybe there is a place for them And one last thing i think when riding at Rough Park you should have 4 x tac rides  regardless of the score!!!

The play offs are there to provide entertainment, something to aim for and to keep the season alive for teams, and i think that on the whole they do that,id like to think that also they could provide a small financial windfall to the promotions involved, but this season the why the draw has worked maybe isnt going to provide that now,but i think it could have Tac rides have never been one of my favourite things either but they also can provide some entertainment, either winning them or defending them And in a sport that lets be honest, can be half dull at times,we need all the excitement and entertainment we can offer
