The NL should be a stepping stone for both riders and clubs alike to hopefully move PL,at the moment it used for stepping back from PL to Nl for both rider and clubs alike!!! League being down to one Double up team tells it own story i guess

Funny,i thought they were suffering before hand also!!! If Wells lost money at Sheff last year then many many other riders did the same Its put to him to rack up the points for his club and make a few quid for himself---its not Sheffield speedways fault he lost money

Very simple....increase your average---the name of the game---- and you may earn some money Its certainly isnt the Sheffield promotions fault that his form for the biggest part of the season was Sh y te....,on the flip side,does any rider who average didnt increase deserve a rise in wages Points win prizes!!!! I saw him for Sheff against Worky and he was shocking unless he made a start,performances like that do not deserve a wage rise

Do you no for a fact he has been offered less money,with a 0.01 increase in his average he for sure doesnt deserve a rise!!!!

Thats if they did offer less money Spinny....to be honest i just cant see it...at worse i would say same deal....which you could say looking at his average is fair

If that is the case Spinny....if he lost money last year....maybe he should have scored a few more points,i saw him a couple of time at Sheff last year and he was shocking....any rider who had an at best,average season complains about loosing money often its down to him not scoreing points

Good to see Stefan in the PL,good so see british rider progressing so fast,3 point NL rookie to NL no.1 and PL reserve in 2 years........ exactley what we need to see more often happening,alot of laps at Scunny should see him do well at the OTA,Somerset now look a very good team

A fair point,but i bet you if you looked at the losses last year by having a poor team,ill bet you a pound they were comparable with the losses during 2011 with they had what i think was the best team in the league that year,huge points scored home and away by the likes of Parker,Ashworth and Auty wouldnt have come cheap Its a vicious circle,and at the moment i honestly think sticking to a strict budget is the way to survive,and i think,reading between the lines,surviving is the most important thing in speedway at the moment,not just at Sheffield

So you think it is the right think to do then,to sign a team over budget in the hope that fans come flooding back to finance it??? thats isnt how it works,ask the fans of Newport and various others

But maybe that rider on an 8.41 average is beyond the financial reach at the present time Its so easy to sit on pull things to peices without knowing what bubget they have to work with,unless SKJ you are going to inject some cash???

Sticking to a budget they can afford,maybe that was what they were thinking???

If i were a Sheff fan i would want Hall back,,,,Sheff need to get back to not getting beat at home,and Hall is so good around there,plus great to watch,The PLRC would have been a bit dour without him.......
