  1. Not a surprise coming from that far north !
  2. Why not tell us a month ago when the rest of the world knew!!!
  3. Ben is a far better rider than the Dane he has replaced, averages dont lie as they say Plus it keeps Taylor Poole at reserve, who did look very good at Scunny the other night, far better than having Nielsen drop back down next month decent move all round i think
  4. Great to see Ben back in the PL where he should be
  5. Schlein a top signing but doesnt he have a Swedish Gig on a Tuesday night?
  6. Travelled at my own risk,no drama, just a shame the Glasgow promotion couldnt look at the weather forecast!! thats how it goes i guess!!!
  7. i cant believe that this wasnt called earlier, the forcast was for 6 hrs of quite heavy rain
  8. Any news on the weather, think of leaving in an hour and forecast looks a bit wet!!
  9. To be fair to the ref i think she got them right,Nielsen, steamed under Thomas and for sure knocked him off,not a dirty move at all i must add,but i think she had it right Same with the Compton move on Douglas,a few Scunny fans we baying at her saying Compton should be excluded but again, nothing wrong with it,she got that right to Got to say that Sheffield had a proper go,and were better than the score suggests, the racing was close throughout, just shows if you put 4 riders on a fair, well prepared smooth track speedway can be very entertaining, certain clubs could learn alot!!
  10. You have missed around 000`s of names from that list, including Promotions, team managers, riders,Owners and former World Champions! Yes the weather seems to have played a part yesterday, but it seems every week these days, you only have to read various social media site to see Interesting that you pick out Simon Nielsen, seen him a few times this year and last and to be honest hes been slow as a donkey and utter crap, maybe thats why he stays on BP!! We continue to hear how you have to come off the throttle at BP,yet next,we hear that if you come off the throttle with a modern speedway bike[and silencer] they bike reacts in a strange way i dont ride a bike so aint got a clue which is right
  11. Try 7 days previous TWK Jorgensen,Auty and Douglas then go back 2 weeks to the 15/6/2014 Aspgren,Allen and Kerr so thats 3 meetings this season where 3 riders have been unable to carry on racing
  12. I think the poster, modd, must have had his post delivered late after one of Shadders away jaunts!;-)
  13. Meeting is off due to awfull weather forecast later over Scunthorpe
  14. Interesting to hear that Shadders,as a rookie when with the Saints he was always really calm,as in when speaking to him in person but seems to get a red mist every now and then and a few have mentioned it I hope he can learn to stay on bike because hes is a tidy little rider on his day
  15. The highlight of that video is the bloke in green coat and red shirt---never stops eating his burger,no drama
  16. you must have some hellish Talent at the training school if fresh shale was put down and no fallers even more amazing on a track that has around 60% more fallers than anywhere else in the PL Good effort Dave, looks like some good kids in the school
  17. Thats no way to speak of the George English fanclub!
  18. i dont need to ,its i known fact! i flew over it 2 weeks ago,and it even looks a dump from 25,000 feet and 500mph
  19. Have to agree about the track inspection, heat six Auty makes a proper move around the lot, great pass, the rain had stopped, all looking ok and they ask for that Lucky that the ref after a few mins told them to get on with it See Lindgren tweeted that the meeting shouldnt have started on a track that produced some good move and not a single faller!!
  20. To be fair to King,he had a good go tonight, never gave up on what i think was his first meeting at Scunny, same could be said of Lewis Rose...really rate him and ge got stuck inNice to see Lindgen pulling wheelies and running lasts,,he scored a few but was shyte and didnt seem bothered Shame Robbo wasnt there, may have taught Lindgren how to ride not act the twit
  21. But what is the point of having that "type" of rider in the team when you can have them in the pits, where they have time to help and advise A rider when in a meeting often doesnt have time to wipe his ass never mind look after/advise everyone else? And ass another point, take Paul Starke for example,im not convinced the NL actually help him over that last few years, what has helped him is getting out of the NL and going Prem league, thatt is where he has developed into a tidy rider over the last 18 months,id even go as far as saying the NL is a waste of time for him now, same with Steve Worrall
  22. so,lets look at the scores you have racked up against teams with Role models in the 1-7,you have still thumbed them What is the Difference between us and Buxton, they came with there so called "role Model" and score 1 more point I dont buy this that the team needs a role model crap, look who is the the pits with them often, you have Parnaby,Moggo,Wayne Carter along with half the Scunny first team at times you think having Tony Atkin is a 1-7 is more productive than and rookie and decent folk in the pits????
  23. 27/06/14 1930 Edinburgh v Peterborough (PL)27/06/14 1915 Plymouth v Redcar (PL) 27/06/14 1930 Scunthorpe v Newcastle (PL)27/06/14 1930 Somerset v Berwick (PL) 27/06/14 1930 Coventry v Cradley (TPT) FOR YOUR INFORMATION!!!---have fun!
