Semi Final Ipswich V Somerset

No change there for Tungate then as he is the genuine def of a gating tart! Tough result for the witches but it was a great effort by them to reach this far after a bad start to the season, fair play to them for sticking at it and turning their season around -

Bates had shocker at Glasgow last time out for Sheff, previous post saying Bates has never gone well at Glasgow now hes had a decent result everyone is spewing about him being allowed to guest!!! Nice to see a young Brit scoring a few and ``entertaining`` by sounds of it -
That is simply not true,Scunthorpe were a million miles away from calling in creditors and leaving riders etc unpaid, The stock cars do not subsidise speedway either, both businesses have to stand on there own feet, and thats what they do And Plymouth chased the play offs last year so cant be such a bad team, and i believe that has cost them dear, add in the signing of Mickael B etc costing 1000s or pounds, it just doesnt stack up..in speedway success doesnt mean sustainability, biggest loss Scunny ever made---Year we won the PL!

Well i guess you have spent the entire season and most of last slagging off the make up of certain teams, and saying how crap they are, maybe now you will learn the lesson of keeping your trap shut and respect teams who cut their cloth accordingly and continue to come to the tapes the following season Your policy of last year, which you went on and on about that buliding strong teams and the fans will come clearly doesnt work First rule these days in speedway----Bulid a team that ensures the club continues Now lets hope that a buyer or some solution can be put in place to ensure Plymouth can arrive at the tapes next spring in what ever league suits them

Belle Vue Vs Wolves, Grand Final 2nd Leg, 5/10/16...
montie replied to Col's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
A great meeting on a great race track ,shame that BV couldnt have stuck another 5-1 in early doors to turn the screw a bit more but well done to Wolves on the win over the two legs.after their performance at home i guessed they deserved it Cant help thinking that Richie should be filling his boots at reserve now, brilliant win over Woffy[helped by Steve keeping Woffy on his toes] then letting Clegg pass him kind of sums him up, Special mention for Joe Jacobs ,he rode really well and seem to have really taken to that big fast track -
Newcastle have probably used more guests this year than anyone due to the make up of there time, and many times picked track specialist as guests Even with the Tigers bringing in guests did anyone give Sheff i hope in hell around Brough Park? Newcastle over two legs were alway gonna take some beating what ever guests or team showed up---100% full credit to Sheff for doing that And do be fair, the rider that really won it for Sheff was Howarth, one of their own riders

despite starting watching noT fussed who won this tie ,after the two shocking decisions by the ref and the hatred towards Poole i was slighly pished they lost Quite why that awfull British disease of knocking succes raises its ugly head ill never know A great meeting all round tho despite being a little ruined by the ref,two shockers from him i feel,PK defo locked up despite Pearson saying he was locking up to make a cut back!!! heat 15,all set up for a last heat decider ,ref could easily have put the definition of a gating tart[Tungate] back in but oh no,ruined the drama somewhat Sad when a great final is ruined by one t i t in a box Well done to Wolves---should be a cracker of a final, looking forward to it

You have to give the Ipo team alot of credit after a poor start getting to where they are now is a great effort all round
