  1. Well done to Swindon,i fine and deserved win in the end Good advert for the playoffs also, good crowd, excitment and last heat decider,--what more could a neutral ask for
  2. Owlerton in a nutshell then...... Totally opposite of what ive seen of Berge at Scunny, the odd time ive seem him at the EWR he didnt seem scared to hang on and have a go
  3. I don't agree the track ruined any chance of real racing..I thought the racing last night was excellent, all riders deserve credit for that I sometimes wonder what we expect as fans, last night we had a smooth, fair and consitant surface which riders were prepared to have a go on,we had a dead duck of a fixture which for a while looked like it could be a unbelievable come back,we two had full teams,no real fallers...no RR and fired though in less that 90mins on a mild Autumn evening...and a fair result If that doesn't keep fans happy well I don't know what else a promotion can do to please
  4. Harsh, how BWD got out of there with 3 points i1ll never know,he rode his nuts off for little reward A poor guest simply isnt true,Richie is normally mustard around the EWR so a very good choice of guest, just didnt have a great night on another note....some fantastic racing from both teams, really good meeting lady luck wasnt on Scunnys side tonight else could have been very close,Tero was a big miss at reserve i think but hey ho Shame Ryan has fallen victim of the visa for next year.maybe better if he was a gay one legged Muslim and hed be ok rather than a decent young kid earning money and paying UK taxes Ride bikes and earn a living-----Good Bye Ride camel and do nothing------Hello!
  5. How the hell did he miss the two mins after an interval lol?
  6. ive often wondered if one of these would be any good https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGuho_ui74c or an even bigger one
  7. What has that fixture got to do with Sunday night---only thing about that fixture was it should have run after the track work
  8. soft on top and like concrete underneath you mean yes? The base is very hard at Scunny hence the water runs off to the corners
  9. did the snap chat show some really good passes and racing from some of the riders on a perfectly rideable and raceable track?
  10. Avery good point,he wasnt standing no messing last night,an attitude ``some`` could learn alot from
  11. Well done to the ref fo not standing no messing around, refreshing to see alot of riders lost the respect of the home fans with a terrible attitude last night, not all i will say but some a brilliant effort to get the track ready after the rain shower, even Teros mechanic giving it big licks with a brush, good lad Cook blasting through the tapes in heat one was expected, try that in a GP in Poland next year fella and im guessing you wouldnt get out the stadium in one piece Some races proved the track was not only rideable but raceable,--speical mention for Willianson and Sarj from the comets for having a go Auty showed his commitment again coming out and blasting around As an elderly gent said to me at the end, there`s riders and there`s racers, sadly to many of the former..........
  12. Josh Auty never gets the credit he deserves so nice to see compliments heading his way... We are all guilty of doing nothing but moan about riders doing this and riders doing that, me included... We are so busy being critical of riders ithink we forget to say well done to alotThere are riders who really are a credit to speedway.. Don't moan.. Don't gob off on social media and would rider through a brick wall for there teams year in year out.. Auty and alot of others deserve credit
  13. Just seen his heat 9 ride on BSAP site..what a brilliant ride that was, great to see,100% effort and very big balls---Quite rare these days!
  14. IN a word yes we do need them i see folks point about top of the league should be champions etc but there is no doubt the season is kept alive by having the chase for the play offs which is a good thing Also to finish in the top 4 can be expensive for the club, which ever league they are in so the chance to get some bumper crowds and claw a few quid back is handy
  15. Thats a hell of a marker put down by Ipswich ,over two legs in the playoffs they have to be favourites now
  16. His injury was a little sore so he sat it out.and a fine home debut it was from him to,certain Home riders could learn a thing or two I dont mind getting beaten by better teams, despite not such a successfull season ive still quite enjoyed my speedway this year but.......when supporters pay their £15 to go in they expect riders to try Yesterday i saw pain an simple, riders not trying and riders giving up, no ifs or buts, that was fact, the club and its fans deserve better ,alot better and would it be possible to have a home meeting where Tero`s bike doesnt break down? Well done to the Monarachs on a fine win
  17. I think it is important not to tar them all with the same brush Sure there seem to have been issues recently with some of the senior ones and Ward has bascially proved himself to the pr ick alot of people though he was but when i see the next Generation,Douglas,Frickle,Pickering,Heeps, etc you realy cant fault them at all and conduct themselves in a proper manner so credit due where credit due, with the exception of little Holder,he as treated British speedway and his club in a terrible manner
  18. Having known and seen Auty for a number of years now,if he withdrew from the meeting he would have to be hurt quite bad
  19. That is so true, one of the nicest guys in speedway and deserves all the success he gets
  20. Roses tinted classes, certainly not, wether you have a number one or not all start with same points limit of 40,having a No.1[what ever one of those is] mean less point to play with ,or scored elsewhere the 3 or 4 teams around us in the league have what you could argue the best riders in the league,Morris,Cook,Lambert,S.Worrall etc but are below midtable plus, pick a no1 changes are he will miss alot of meeting of meetings due to doubling up,and guests are not always easy to comeby, look at todays visting teams as an example when a team is build like ours the strong reserve needs to score well, and at the moment he isnt beating anyone bar reserves, After last night, also dont forget The diamonds are always strong at home, good home track advantage, and riders who go well there Well done Newcastle on a fine win also
