iTS about time that certain rules were brought in to prevent promoters treating riders like rubbish.When they sign a rider it should be a binding contract for say minimum three months.These lads spend thousand of pounds and a lot of time and effort just to get on track.If they are released before then they should get a payment settlement for breach of contract. I know promoters are strapped for cash but it would stop them just dropping rider so easily.Riders have family's and mortgage's,We will never get a good England team whilst we allow British riders to be replaced by more foreign rider at the drop of a hat. I know people will rubbish this post ,but i can see the affect it as on riders and family who rely on them to earn a living,its the same with the doubling up riders ,some ride in other country's and double up in this country at the expense of some rider only having one team in this country. I think we need to change rules like the Poles only allow any riders only three teams world wide. Lets see what comments this brings agree or not agree.

Not managed to get to Sheffield much this year ,but told racing was poor.Also nhow is Steady getting on with being team manager ,heard he missed some meetings already.Thought team manager was at all meetings ,but Steady not bothered that is not good for team spirit.

I agree with Flagrag,Jim Lynch does not get involved with the riders , Mr Bates you have a good team manager doing nothing under your nose.Jack Lee would be perfect for Leicester,get him to return.

Heard last night George was told he was no longer welcome in the pits ,now to me that is wrong. George helps to run the Colts and as also paid out of his own pocket over the years for riders transfers ect. The new people now running Belle Vue admitted they dont have a clue what is involved to run a speedway and they dont seem to know what George has done to help keep this club going ,paying out of his own pocket.He should not be tard with the same brush as David Gordon and co ,he is a very honest sincere man,The person who made that decision must rethink what he has done,i think it is disgusting to treat George this way.

Sad news last night .George Carrswell was told to leave the pits ,and he would not be allowed in again.Now i dont know who gave such a order but to me it stinks,George has a long history at Belle Vue,He spent a great deal of money helping out,signing riders ,paying for some out of his own money ,and in the last few years he ran the Colts ,again putting his own money up .To be treated like that by these new owners is disgusting they should look at what he as contributed to this club before making such decisions. They no nothing about speedway and nothing about people who are the backbone of the club .They should be ashamed to treat George like this ,he is a nice genuine guy and not a David Gordon fan,bring George back or myself and family long time Aces fans will simply stop coming to support such heartless promotion.

I have just seen Poole are holding a Darcy Ward benefit meeting witch is great. And now i am hoping Both Sheffield and Berwick will be doing the same for Ricky Ashworth, Both these lads still need as much support and help they can get.Both are still young men who are not able to work due to the injures they sustained entertaining us the public so come on people get behind the push to get Ricky the help he deserves.

At last some news,does it matter who these people are mates with.You have all forgotten who got the new stadium built,David Gordon and Chris Morton no less.Have you also forgotten who kept speedway going for ten years against all odds at the dog hole,yes Gordon and Morton no less.I .They worked there socks off for Belle Vue think blame should not be all piled on these two. iSG THE BUILDERS DID NOT COMPLETE THE STADIUM LET ALONE THE TRACK ON TIME when my husband ran a building firm in the seventy's he was held to a contract on big jobs to complete all work by certain dates or would have to pay a penalty clause to the customers.But i have no dout this builder who does a lot of work for the council ,will have is back covered by certain pals in said council my husband bless him had problems with them they look after there mates .

Just been watching the F A cup on tv and now with our two top leagues being similar strengths i would like to see a Knock Out cup with both leagues involved.Its about time it was a fixture again.Aso we should be looking at bringing back England v Denmark or Austrailia or Sweden test matches back.
