  1. just checked text on tv .shows rye house in third with 26 points.surely it should read rye house in joint sixth place on 22 points,wy have they not yet been taken off.if it does not happen i for one will stop going to speedway it wil be a joke,i will find another thing to spend my hard earned money on.
  2. great winn tonight Mod Notes: 1. please do not make duplicate topics - post in the existing thread 2. childish trolling removed
  3. i cant beleive u mr bowden, dropping smethells yes but starkie o no.;u must be starke raving mad, pardon the pun how can u face the fans when u make changes like this.can u wonder the crowds are down,i hope paul gets fixed up and comes to plymouth and scores a max it will serve u right.u should never have left buxton paul they dont treat people like that.
  4. ican not beleive mr Bowden.how could he get ridd of Starke a very much improved rider, and a full blown britt.go on Starkie go back to Buxton they will need you to replace Morris who can only do home meetings.
  5. dont take this off because its true .and the S C B will have to sort it out and admitt they are wrong in not deducting Nelsons points.
  6. i could have called <removed again> Mod Note: merely repeating it will only result in it being removed again and if you continue you will end up on mod preview

  8. how can speedway survive when rules are i gnored if a ileagal rider is used his points should be deducted.the farse that has been allowed to happen with rye house useing tyson nelson who scored 17+1 then for the spineless management to allow his points to count is the biggest joke yet for speedway n o wonder people are turning ther backs on or once pround sport.is the management commite scared of upsetting len silver incase he dosnot run the national league riders final.well with rule like that being broke we will soon have no national league come on get a grip stop making a great sport into a laughing stock.
  9. i can not beleive what i have read about the ileagal use of tyson nelson by rye house.surly the points he scored will be deducted,i was told by the buxton team manager a friend of mine that he tried to get nelson for buxton but was informed by neil machin that nelson was not elegable to ride in the national league .the same neil machin who is on the management comitte who now are saying his points will not be deducted, this is a complete farse of the sport no wonder the national press dont treat speedway as a real sport.if buxton use charles wright it will be ok his points will not be deducted or is there one rule for one team and one for the rest.what a complete balls up the management comitte and mr morrish should be replaced with people who will uphold the rules what a shambles.
  10. now it looks Buxtons good side will disappear into the premier league.if they are at Rye House a week tomorrow they will be short of Cook Morris and Wright all stolen by the premire teams.a guest for Cook r]r for wright and some three point wobbler fot Morris aint going to do their league chances any good but does any body care no only the lett down Buxton fans who travel down to Rye to support ther team.makes me glad we have the older riders in our team. no one will want to steal them and ruin our already poor season.
  11. b what i dont agree with is premier teams taking riders off natinal teams midd season.they must move up to progress.premire teams if they could use any national league rider for guest so they can still cary on riding for there national team also.then be singned full for the start of the next season or will the premire teams then do the usual and fill up with poles swedes danes ect leaving the young britts to go back to national league.
  12. get real we are now a league in our own right drop the stupid development name.any way keep your hands off the devils team find yourselfs a pole or cheqe or swede wait till the season is over before steeling our riders .you can have them guest but do not pinch them i pay good money to watch my team.
  13. my team plymouth devils are due at buxton next week and we can go for a winn.they will have no cook no morris what a great chance for the devils to grab a away winn.i feel sorry for buxton their team has fallen appart i have heard they are to lose wright soon.the rules need changing to prevent premier teams from just taking riders off national teams its not fair on the club and it is certanly not fair on the paying public.get it sorted b s p a or people will walk away from the clubs affected and teams cant afford to lose support.
  14. sad sad sad speedway i am getting pis ups fedup with the sod you buzz iam alright. for gods sake come on give the guy the testimonial he deserves.he is one of the nicest guys you could wish to meet, and i think its about time a meeting was held for him .stoke nearly held one but a family problem got in the way .very sad so come on sheffield or even buxton get a meeting sorted so come get it done..he had a very bad life thretening ijury last year and he aint getting any younger sorry buzz /

  21. i have very happy memoires of belle vue i started going at the age of ten in 1951,and saw the great jack parker,he was still riding at number one,i think he was about 50 yaers old.he still scored points even then. a young new zealander ron johnston was at 2 he became my favourite till he retired,i never met him untill he visited the new track at kirky lane in the eightys it was the first time he had been back to this country for about twenty years.the late fred rodgers ex norwich and belle vue rider kindly took my photo with ron it made my day.i also saw the start of the late great peter cravens career untill sadly the end.but hyde road on a saturday night still holds magic memorys for me. and yes i also remember slant payling tink maynard ron houlston tony robinson ect from the old bubble bounce second half races, named by the top man jonnie hoskins great times i will never forget.i moved to live in plymouth in 2000 and was over the moon when we got speedway back here but the old hyde road was the best.
  22. i go back along way ,hope this helps. cov(7)71-1Ron Mountford. C H(4)71-1Pete Jarman. CH (5)72-2Roy Trigg. CH(6)72-3 John Hart.Norwich (2)Barry East. Reading(5)68-2John Poyser. i am pre tty sure i am right on all them.
  23. hey Deano have you retired i cant see your name on any team sheets. Malcolm another spelling mistake ,you will have Mr Butler after you. Here is one of those icons you dont like.
  24. doncaster unknown 69-1 alan bridgett derek timms stuart ulph sheff v belle vue john dews cyril maidment dick fisher oxford 6 v swindon eddie reeves mike keen hope this is a help.
  25. gerry hussey a overnight sensation he popped up from nowhere, a very classy rider, and a good looking lad.he could have been a big star if he had lived, but he enjoyed what he did for what was sadly to short a time.got his autograph at belle vue he seemed like a nice bloke found time to chat with me and my mates.i would have been about 11 years old and thought it was great that a rider from another team had a laugh with us .he became one of my favourite riders after that sadly for to short a time i cried when i heard he had been killed.
