Ipswich 2012

All you lot just dont get it we dont give our own grown riders the chance to step up,we just go on signing overseas riders.Poland have a restriction on non poles in there teams so that they use their own and look how they produce good riders .Then we sign em over a british lad then moan that we are not producing any good riders. The national league is doing a great job bringing riders on then they hit a brick wall called premire league who are allowed to fill there teams with foreign riders and bring them on this is repeated every year what i would like to see is a limmit put on like the poles do and get on with helping our own lads come through not rocket sience i am sure. -

no you got no Duffers in your team But you have got no British riders either should not be allowed its disgusting Chris Louis what are you doing at Mildenhall whats the point if you dont give british riders a team place now. -
I think my comment where taken out of context..I am all for the young lads and will be behind them in there quest to make it in speedway,Its a hard game and sure they will need all the encouragement from people to help them succeed.I wish them all the best of luck for the coming season, lets hope we find some new stars for the future.I certainly did not put anyone down on my last posting, it was based on my opinion only and people will have to take comments from us fans once they ride both good and bad.

Having seen young Micheal Neale riding at Scunny i dont think the lad is ready for league racing,i hope i am proved wrong he is a nice lad but could be left to struggle at national level. This could knock his confidence but lets hope not for his and the teams sake.

Cheers Vog dont know how you found out unless your a promoter but thanks for the info

Well what happend nothing on the b s p a site or any where. Did it happen or did no one speak, come on so called promoters promote. For gods sake let people know whats happed today at the A G M no news any where says everything you lot think about your fans who you expect to pay to watch your teams. I for one expect more from you promoters. How many teams how many meetings what new rules what new comps come on get your act together let people know.
-
i am sure that the stand alone teams will need more meetings Mildenhall Buxton I O W Stoke and maybe Dudley will need more so how about a trophy league and a k o c just for them and any who want to join them.

i agree riders should move up but the promoters dont give enough chances to brittish riders to move up they would rather bring in forign riders so a rider gets to a standard in national league then they hit a brick wall.the ones who do move up are not given a long enough run to make the grade and get replaced they end up back in the national league.i think Rob does a grand job but i still think the national league has grown out of being a development league.I tried to get my boss to sponser a rider last year but when i told him he rode in a development league he lost interest.

I am not against any young riders trying to improve but the national league has outgrown the training league it once was.The northern junior league is the place for these riders to start.Rob Godfrey does a great job bringing on young riders but he must look at the national league from the point of view of stand alone clubs they must have competitive meetings for their fans he once run a stand alone conference team and must know a show has to be good to keep the fans happy/ So ok two or three at the most 3pointers with next to know experience is enough for one team then lets see some good speedway.Lets just call the national league get rid of that stupid development tag r

Unless you sign two 10 point men your team is very. low on averages. If a team turned up in any of the other leagues looking so weak they would be facing a fine ,so why is it allowed in the national;league. We the fans still are expected to turn up and part with 10 quid plu s petrol to watch them. Lads may come good but right now they are mostly going to find the national league allot different to what they are used to.I for one will be reluctant to spend my money.
-
Can anyone tell me how the national league points limit can be set before they hold the a g m.How can it help young riders when by setting the limit before you know how many teams are running,Its going to mean teams that will be over the limit from last year. are not going to offer all riders a team place..Just what is going to happen to these riders ,.there are not enough teams to fit them in.and they being british the premier and elite leagues wont touch them.SO can someone tell me how this type of thing is going to help young riders.I can name ten who look like missing out,So all the effort they have put in will be wasted.

not a suppries i have never known so many riders calling it a day before.its just to expensive now the use of only one engine g m is no good why dont people try honda aiden collins says they are suitable for speedway and are easy and cheap to maintain he as used one in a speedway frame and said it was fast or is there some crazy rule to stop them being used.

I said give the young lads a chance, but if no one moves up a league there are no spaces to be filled. If say twenty Premier riders moved up that would mean getting rid of the doubling up rule to replace foreign riders in the elite thats two new res more could then move up from national to replace them. Then there would be twenty spaces to be filled in the national league. That would be heaven but it aint going to happen. -

The Conference league grew over the last 16 years into the National league.it has become a real speedway league, not a practice session. Now people want to reverse it back,i for one and i know of others will not spend money to watch if it is watered down, like the Elite league as been i do not go to that any more. The only league worth watching will be the Premier.speedway is a spectator sport and for that reason must be worth watching and paying to see.But i am sorry in these times when money is tight people want value for it and wont spend to watch a substandard product.I know youngsters have to be given a chance so lets start by limiting the number of foreign riders allowed per team in all leagues, slowly at first say no foreign riders at res in the Elite league,a maximum of four per team in the Premier league, and only as now british passport holders in the National league. That then would see movement up from all leagues and create places for young riders to fill at National level .Another way is for all clubs to bring back second halfs for novices to ride in that will give more rides for new comers to the sport they do it at Sheffield already, but dont please try to runn down the National league standard now or it will be a disaster.I think Scunfield should appologise to Newport and there fans for what they have done today sending that team to race.
