As a drunken thought why dont promotions instead of knocking say £5 off knock only £3 off and the other £2 go in to a pot. Eg.550 people turn up for the meeting and everyone on entry gets a raffleticket.50 of 550 are season ticketholders who also receive a raffleticket on entry (they are entitled as a Thank you for their loyalty in paying in advance).Winner of HT15 draws a ticket/s and person/s go home very happy with share of £1000. You could increase the pot of the £1000 (500 paying on the night ) if a rider wants to take a chance on increasing his nights income or the riders mechanic wants to improve on his free entry to the stadium with a new free tool kit they should be given the chance as much as anyone else but they pay £2 for a raffleticket. By less reduction of entry you do not devalue a seasonticket so much and if a ticketholder were to win they could possibly not only redeem the money for this seasons ticket but pay for next seasons as well.A non season ticketholder could win and buy a seasonticket for the next season and the club would gain the winnings back. Now if that helps any promotion or gives any promotion an idea to tinker with........... maybe you can help me by telling me where i,ve put my alcohol

I am a bit shocked at the proffessionalism of some riders. They should have known that tonights meeting was a possible non starter so they should all have brought sleeping bags and slept in the pits or if it was a bit cold snuggled in the hay with the resident greyhounds so as to make sure they were on time for next Mondays start

I think any team that rides with r/r away from home and gets beat by 6 or less should be awarded an extra 3 points...Mind i would like copyright status on that ruling and abolish the rule when my team is back to riding with 7 riders again next year But not only would i like to see a rule where a 6 man away team who keep it close get 3 points i would also like to see fans of a 6 man away team getting thrashed get free pints

At last nights meeting i noticed at the back of the pits a Peterborough Panthers van i take it that was Vissings then?
