Is it because Ford's arms are longer than Horton's?
-
That's because 1000% of the dodgy decision making goes on behind closed doors, never officially reaches the public domain ,and anyone "that is in the know" dare not speak out for fear of being punished by the powers that be.So fans speak out about what they see for themselves. More transparency is the answer.

I had to smile when Horton was telling us all what a great club the bees are, " the number one club in the sport" and how lots of riders want to ride for us. I think he forgot to mention that was what he inherited , as it most certainly doesn't describe the club in its present state. It was also interesting to hear him say that he had two teams in his mind dependant on the TV situation. Would that be the cheap team, and the even cheaper one?
-
And possibly more had he had not been mysteriously signed by text by another club.

Pearson Defends The Play-off... Desperate
Dave Jones replied to TheReturn's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I "like " posts that happen to believe are appropriate to the topic. You let yourself down by getting aggressive with anyone who happens disagree with your posts, and then go on to take digs at anyone that might support that view. At the same time you regularly use the "like" button yourself. It seems to me you are incapable of taking any type of criticism, and if anyone dares to question your views you just have to use the bully type approach in an attempt to silence them. Well it will not work on me. I will continue to use the like button and comment on quotes, yours included, when appropriate. -

That's double standards if I've ever seen it, and no I don't follow you around. You post, others comment .That is what forums are for is it not? If you don't want to read my comments put me on ignore. -

The irony of it all !! We have a guy who posts in defence of someone who is being "slagged off ", and he does that by slagging someone else off. -
Seems like it doesn't pay to upset the establishment .
-
I somehow doubt that "a few day to recover" will alter the situation at Brandon. The problems there are much deeper rooted than that.

Birmingham V Poole Grand Final 2nd Leg

Quoting the regulation proves nothing. Everyone knows that the rules are regularly exploited, particularly where Poole are concerned. -
But i expect he realises that if his team should look too threatening he will just be shafted again, by those that pull the strings.

Thanks SGP. I can't say I'm surprised , but I was hoping it was not going to be the case. If we had any hopes that the thinking at the "top shop" might have been changing, then they have just been shot down in flames. I really just don't understand how they can come to these decisions. My sympathy to Chris, thanks for your efforts at Brandon, I hope you can find a way round this situation.

I don't disagree. The point I was trying to get over was that we should be careful about commenting on the possibility of a guy being banned from working in the sport, when we have no real information yet whether or not it is true .
-
I think we should wait and see if this is true before making any judgements. Someone will know, and the information will find its way to this forum no doubt.
-
This must be getting on someone's nerves, as i see "the establishment" has decided to contribute.

I have only seen this incident once, on tv. It looked to me that Freddie, for some reason, cut to the inside of the track approaching the finishing line. He approached the 1st turn ,still going very quickly, almost along the white line. As he got to the turn he seemed to put the bike sideways on to scrub off speed, but drifted out and clipped the back wheel of Doyle's bike as he came round the outside of him. Can't understand what the fuss is about to be honest.
-
So true, I regret to say.
-
But we all know Fraud has been pulling the strings for years so what's the difference if he puts his name to it next season?
-
I was always taught that the word sentence was written with an "e".

And some would say "still serving them today"!
