Manse just scrapes in then?

I would call it having a sense of feeling for what goes on down at Poole. Some of us have first hand experience of the" dirty tricks brigade"

A promotional team with integrity, ambition, and a bit of clout would be a good start. Dreamland I know.

Surely that should read bad plaice.

Yes we were all new once. The real difference is that the majority don't post the sh**te you do.

Who Is Going To Be Harkess's Successor?
Dave Jones replied to heathen chemistry's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
That would keep everything nice & cosy. Mind you, once Harkess has gone it should take a bit of pressure off the railway staff as there will be one less fare dodger for them to worry about.( allegedly) -
All the forecasts suggest that, but you know that they are not always accurate

I read that there is a big shower arriving at Brandon tomorrow around 7 ish, and will hang around till about 10.30-11.00 .Then it will turn around and go back where it came from. Down towards the south coast I understand.

Second Choice Elite League Club?
Dave Jones replied to John Leslie's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
No nothing to do with Scott, my memory is just as bad as yours but I haven't forgotten what happened. If you read this topic from the top you will see someone else has already tried to tempt me to make more comments.I will give you the same reply as I gave him, (it's already been done to death on this forum) OOps we crossed posts, I highlighted the part of your post I was commenting on -

Second Choice Elite League Club?

I can't say I blame him after the treatment he received, it seems very obvious to me the club is much the poorer without his presence. -

Second Choice Elite League Club?
Dave Jones replied to John Leslie's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
It would be the Aces for me too. It seems that the sleeping giant is beginning to stir, and with the new stadium available next year many will be envious I would imagine. My big worry for them is if they start pushing the" south coast mafia" too close " things might start happening" if you follow my drift. -

Where I live we call them glory hunters.

I agree. The OP has a justifiable cause for complaint in my opinion The club should make their terms and conditions clear & understandable at the stadium entrance, with a particular reference to double headers which are obviously not the same as a normal 15 heat meeting. I understand that questions were asked by Silver Bee & his family but no-one at the turnstiles had the answers, once they had paid to gain entrance it was all a little too late. To be honest Horton & Co have been getting away with dodgy double header meetings for some considerable time now, what with the imposition of the non existent curfew, damage to fences & riders, as well as the genuine rain offs. The bottom line is that if they offer the fans two meetings back to back, then that is what they should get not one and a bit. If the promoters had any decency they would make clear their policy for double header meetings so that everyone understands what their entitlement is in the event of any early curtailment.

Why should I put you on ignore ? You are a promoter of the club I have supported for over half a century. I want to read your posts,I want to know what's happening, and if I feel the need then I will comment on it. I was under the impression that is what a forum was all about. You don't do yourself any favours by trotting out the well used speedway term " if you don't like it, don't read it" response.

Hi HT, My posts on this topic were borne out of a concern for the content in many of Neil Watson's posts recently, not just this topic but others too. The clubs PR is extremely poor in my opinion, and I feel that over the last few weeks some of Neil's replies to posts on the BSF have shown an element of frustration, to put it politely. I don't buy in to this approach that because he posts on here he must be better than the rest, he should be judged on the content in his replies to customers concerns, many of which have shown signs of someone who is losing his patience. He put himself up as spokesman for the bees on this forum, and as such has to take the criticism, along with the praise, it's the nature of the job.
