They were , Poole were just "sandbagging" as they have been for most of the season.

They are both as bad as each other,& they could both be accused of causing serious damage to British Speedway, in their own way.IMO

I can understand why you would be happy with your promoter, but many others can see what he gets up to, indeed some of us have first hand experience of his actions. I think the issue here is that the majority of Poole fans that post on here are either unable, or not prepared, to see the truth of it all.

And if Ford didn't pull all of his strokes there wouldn't be the high number of "attacks".

Don't say that please. The bees management might read it and get ideas.

But everyone knows that the BSPA is a clique. A bunch of guys ,who, if you are "in" you get everything you want, and if you are "out" then the opposite applies. We are also very aware which side Matt Ford fits, so that tends to pour cold water on your theory in my opinion.

I don't disagree, I think everyone realises that the team at the top of the league are the true champs. We do, however, have a situation where play offs are part of our sport, & I don't see anything wrong in giving a trophy to both league & play off winners. As things stand at present the team that wins the play offs get the glory, & they are not necessarily the best team over the full season. So why not reward the league winners, as I said it works in other sports.

I can't understand why the powers that be can't just sort this out. It would be very simple to rectify, one trophy for the league winners, and another for the play off champs.
