So 4 days after the meeting we get told the new stadium won't be ready for March 2016, and the new season would start at the existing stadium. If you believe that TR didn't know that in advance of Oct 11th then I think you are a little too trusting.

You obviously have a problem understanding my posts. Your reply is nothing more than a load of waffle,as I made it quite clear that my beef was with the farewell meeting and nothing else. If you think that everything was above board then perhaps you should get your dictionary out and check out the word farewell. Then you can decide if it applies to the current situation at Swindon Stadium. Or perhaps you just feel it necessary to do your usual protection job for the dodgy moves carried out by your promoter mates.

My previous comments have been about the Farewell Meeting and the timings of the subsequent announcements regarding the delays with the proposed new stadium. Indeed the fact that the announcement that the new stadium was unlikely to be ready for next March came just four days after the supposed last meeting had been completed was very suspicious don't you think? Now we are told that the new season will start at the Abbey , so in the true sense of the word the farewell meeting was indeed a con. If you intend to respond , try sticking to the post instead of letting your aggression take over when you "go off " all over the place with stupid comments and make yourself look a total idiot.

No he won't .. You obviously haven't got the ability to read and understand . My comments were always aimed at TR running a Farewell Meeting when it was obvious that the new stadium was never going to be ready for next March. Obvious that is, to many, but not you it would appear.

Thanks for your comments. I received exactly the reply from Neil Watson that I expected. It was further evidence that my opinion of him was accurate. I will "sit out" next season and see what happens with the situation at Brandon, but the one thing I am certain of is that the current promotion won't be seeing any more of my money.

I'm surprised you need to ask this question. It's a common procedure at the BSPA, otherwise known as" treating the customers with total disregard". I would describe it in stronger terms but I realise younger folk read this forum too. On a sadder note I was sorry to hear the news on Pete Ansell, he always seemed to me to be the one decent guy on the present Poole management team.

How do you know where they travel from? The bees have historically pulled fans from much further afield than Coventry. In my case there are two clubs closer to my front door than Brandon , one that is almost within walking distance. I don't go to either track very often as I want to support the bees. At the moment I feel that my loyalty has been worthless

I think it is £3 but that is a massive increase for what is once again a lower quality product. Dick Turpin had nothing on these guys

Except that the new price of £17 is for all adults , so no discount for seniors any longer.? That's a whacking price increase if it is the case.

You need to read the post more carefully. My comments are about the running of the end of era meeting, bugger all to do with the stadium owners/builders. I suggest that is yourself that suffers from narrow thinking, along with your promoter buddies,while you continue to make yourself look a complete fool in attempting to justify their dodgy actions.

I prefer to call it pointing out the very serious shortcomings in customer care & consideration by speedway promoters, but unfortunately they ,like yourself are still living in the 1950's.and don't see what they are doing wrong.

What a load of garbage that is ! It would just take a statement from Swindon along the lines of " We are not going to put on the end of era meeting meeting because we are unsure whether this is the end for the present stadium" ,problem solved. Judging by the short amount of time after the meeting took place and the announcement telling the fans that the new stadium was going to be delayed,I would be amazed that the promoters were not aware.

It's a loophole, it has been exploited many times over the years,and will be again. The difference in 2010 was that Ford was on the receiving end for a change, and he couldn't handle the fact that he had been caught out at his own game.

I well remember" Speedy Pete Jarman " hated the place too.
