I'm selling my upright speedway bike due to retirement. Bike was built at the beginning of the season using mainly new parts. Never raced - only used for practice sessions at Lydd. Engine: Jawa 897 Fully rebuilt by Gary Drake of Godden Engineering. Completely new internals, new magneto and new coil. Wheels respoked, black rims. New bearings everywhere. Here's a biggie! When I was a nipper I used to read two comics; I think one was The Tiger - the other I can't remember. Anyway, one of them carried a weekly speedway story. Can anyone remember? Anyone got any copies? I'd be interested to know.
