Tai Woffinden's Views On Single Night Racing In Uk
bruno replied to clambo71's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I actually agree with you, I've turned promotions down myself because I didn't think the extra money was worth the extra pressure. However riding a speedway bike is the same wherever they ride to a point. More pressure in Poland but I reckon riders of tais standard would relish that I would have thought -
well I was coming to this but glad I went for a curry and a couple of pints instead. when will the promotors realise fans wont put up with sub standard racing these days its not the 70s or 80s anymore

Can't remember who he passed on Saturday going into the third bend but I thought it was a brave pass.agree he's not the most exciting, I always preferred Billy hamill but I reckon he makes more passes than he gets credit for -
Rightly or wrong the reason I didn't bother going to this and went out on my bike instead I also went to monmore on Monday to watch better racing, unfortuneately this wasn't a great meeting either I hate to knock speedway but I'm becoming very disillusioned by it at the minute but I still enjoy the top riders in the gps.can't see how British speedway can get the top riders back.some say support it or lose it.but if what your supporting isn't worth it then why bother?trouble is today there's plenty of other stuff to do

Was going to take in a fair few tracks this year on the bike but because of the weather avnt got round to it yet.it's supposed to be nice tomorrow so it's either into Wales or through the Cotswolds and onto blunsdon for this meeting.last couple of visits have been disappointing but I'm finding that I keep making excuses to miss meetings.il sleep on it and decide tomorrow but I'm worried I'm becoming an armchair fan!

Hope so, I know some seem to enjoy 60+ scores but I didn't think much of the racing last night

I was only 13 at the time but Its stayed with me all this time.I'm sure it was big news in one of the daily papers.brings it home how dangerous our sport is R.I.P Tommy -
I think moles are very clever animals.they seem to know everything that's going on!

It's not so much bad meetings that bother me.I agree that happens in most sports but with speedway the bad meetings tend to be caused by incompetence!

I'm not suggesting that tracks are easy to prepare or not but surely that's not the issue here.we don't really know if the surface was good or not,it was to narrow.how will anyone learn from this for next year.it should have been spotted straight away.wouldn't it be nice for someone who was involved in the track prep explain why they thought the shape would be ok
