  1. could the problem be thou that in the future he decides to ride for gb which makes him a brit which makes him ok for the nl. just a thought
  2. I get holder thinking this after all wards hes mate but why tell the world
  3. got to agree ,stopping riders getting off there bike to garden altho helpful is really a minor problem but meetings being needlessly cancelled must be a priority. unfortunately in most cases major changes are expensive
  4. I know , my youngest has always been a big def leppard fan. despite telling him this past 20 years they were one group I never got round to seeing I discovered a couple of months ago I was at donnington one year when they were there, I have no memory whatsoever of seeing them. does it get even worse after 53!!!
  5. My wife's an hoarder, keeps everything whereas every now again I have a clear out and get rid of stuff.still got rosettes and badges from 70s and 80s at cradley but cleared out programmes from over the years.also just thrown away loads of speedway stars.sad but I never looked at them so thought what's the point of all that clutter.kept a few programmes like 72 world final I think it was when bernie came second.not sure if I'm right to do it cuz I love history and nostalgia but hate clutter!
  6. That's the trouble no one knows the rules!
  7. What a stupid post, how are clegg and greaves has beens!the team being assembled for next year by us is what the nl is all about.kids who have come thru the ranks are now our number 1and 2.3 riders who have to prove themselves Btw agree the previous few years were not to my liking ie Roynon blackbird worrall starke but no one can critisize our current signings for next season
  8. Have to agree I had an op last Monday and avnt had the best of weeks but watching the clip of Ricky soon stops you moaning about your own problems especially if there just temporary anyway
  9. I've just noticed on Wikipedia that after ivans win in 79 he didn't compete in another final altho he didn't retire till 85 I think it said.my question is did he try to qualify for the final 5 to 6 years of his career
  10. I'm looking forward to next year, should be far better racing.it's good to win but I'm looking forward to close meetings and racing next year
  11. I remember Joe owen being a fantastic rider in the late 70s but lost touch for a while in the 80s.did he have a bad injury but make a comeback then get his injury which disabled him
  12. Tbh always travel by booking myself but it can lead to problems as in arguments in a Bydgoszcz hotel surrounded by local thugs! Then again it adds to the trip! It's far cheaper booking by yourself but if money's no object I can see the advantages of organised tours
  13. We all know Adams problems re injury but on that average it's got to be worth the risk.a fit Adam Roynon could be averaging 8 plus
  14. As with going to Peterborough to support them a couple of times next year with either ward or holder I would make a few appearances at blunsdon
  15. Altho I'm miles away il make a couple of visits.every little helps
  16. For all the comments about not needing the top riders back I wonder how many have said il go and watch lakeside when they visit with aj.il be checking out the wolves fixtures to see when he's there
  17. Altho it would be a great shame not running over a few thousand pounds surely a business trying to get that little amount of money is not on a good financial footing for future years
  18. I don't get it this year, surely the ftr should be youngsters like last season.by including some of the riders in the first pick who i think should be in the 1 to 5 of teams.won't this leave a shortage of Brits so the 1 to 5 will be full of foreigners.how's this fast tracking youngsters like clegg greaves perry Morris etc
