Please tell me I'm wrong,does this mean that if a rider touches the tapes in heat 15 he can go off 15 metres from his original gate position but if a rider touches the tapes in heats 1 to 14 he can go off 15 metres but has to go from gate 4. If that's right isn't it a contradiction. Or better still isn't it just bonkers, that's the same offence with 2 rules. Is it me, I hope it is

Didn't Nicki Pedersen say a few years ago that all that's happened is that the top riders wages are now being paid to the riders who have become the top riders in the elite league because the real top riders don't ride here anymore. That sentence reads like I've had a drink. Lol

Why do they keep changing rules every year, I've given up with them now. I just go and enjoy the racing without really caring about the result anymore

Well what a great day out, it felt like a modern motorcycle meeting not a dated day out from 30 or 40 years ago. Great racing modern facilities and a feel good factor about the place. Amazed by the age of the crowd, lots of youngsters there who got on the centre green to meet roary the tiger then take take part in a running race. They looked like they loved it, about 50 of them. The crowd were kept involved and the amount of 18 to 35 year olds was brilliant. They chanted and got behind the riders and had a great day out. Staff even bought ice creams round trying to get extra revenue in, never seen that before.viewing brilliant and looked like a promotion who take care of the small details. Even had someone going round after the meeting picking the litter up. Very impressed. Agree with a post above the 50/50 seller was saying 500 pound pay out when it wasn't. Not far off though. The only downside was the inside line. Basically there isn't one. If this could be sorted somehow what a place it would be. Take a bow Glasgow worth every penny and will definitely be back next year despite a 5 hour journey!

Farce rule yet again. I was at Glasgow and worrall seemed to just blast through the tapes. How should that be rewarded with a like for like replacement. Why not just change the tapes rule to if you touch them your out, no replacement. Simple

After our trip to Edinburgh and Workington last week there are 4 friendly heathens and a tigger the bear coming up for this. If you see a bloke with a tigger come over and say hello. A bit of advice though talk to the bear cuz he's more intelligent than the owner

Don't get me wrong I'm a bomber fan but on Saturday he only earned one point and was off the pace,he's gating was worse than ever. He's not going to get in the top 8 so might be better to give it up now, can't be doing he's confidence any good or he's bank balance

Instead of following the heathens away this year we have decided to go to different tracks who maybe won't be around much longer like speedway in general. Bored of going to the same tracks as the last 5 years so off to Edinburgh tomorrow and Workington Saturday then Glasgow over the bh at the end of May. Not sure if we follow the speedway anymore or we just enjoy the crack on a day out. Good days or sad times, not sure

Don't normally get involved in slanging matches but I did put robert72 on ignore because he's comments did my head in. Took him off now though and much to my surprise I've started to agree with some of what he says. Bit scary eh

4/5 of us coming up from the midlands for the meeting on the 13th, staying over then going onto Workington on the Saturday. can anyone recommend a decent hotel in the area for the Friday night and also a decent pub close to the track. prefer the hotel to be close to the track as well to save anyone driving. thanks for any advice

lol sorry Brian next time im there il give you a hand. you should ask my brother to help you. he goes to pb every match hes the one who carries a tigger the bear around with him. hes only 48 so hasn't grown up yet!!!

Must admit Brian I didn't get there till 7.15 so it must have just been changed. Why not leave it till after the meeting starts though. Seems strange to me
