  1. Well I've stopped poncing around and gone for it. Swopped my broadband from talktalk to BT . Got a cracking deal and already set the sky box for tonight because I'm out. Watched it last year on tube a few days after but it wasn't the same and I'm no good with streams. No idea if BT customer service are going to be any good but I got an ex speedway fan who knew he's stuff so that swung it. They can't be any worse than talktalk, getting someone who spoke English was a bonus, well cockney anyway. Lol
  2. No there not, that title goes to Dudley council
  3. Definitely take a chair in plenty of places to put it,cracking cafe in Burnham for food but can't remember the name of it.doh. It's on the front ,maybe a local can help with the name
  4. That's the place I parked, easy to get to the track and no craters on the car park
  5. I think we all get health and safety to a point but it's gone bonkers, is it really dangerous to stand at the back?
  6. Thanks for the reply, totally understand your reasons and would be tempted to leave early myself after that. The clubs just don't seem to get it do they or maybe just don't give a sh##e
  7. Haven't Kent got a curfew in place, bit risky delaying the start
  8. AJ,serious question why would you leave before the last race. Not a p take, just interested to know why
  9. On the parking, I think I parked at a station once about 5 minutes away. Easy enough to get to stadium
  10. If any kids get up upset by that comment I'm not sure how'd they cope with other comments on the forum. Lol
  11. As a neutral I was at both and enjoyed both meetings but the Somerset meeting and track was far better than the Poole one. The thing is the meeting at Poole was pretty much standard for what I've seen there, not brilliant but not bad whereas the meeting at Somerset was a bit below the usual standard but still some cracking racing. My view only but as said I'm a neutral with no bias either way
  12. At 17 he should be getting the riding / rest balance right. He won't because all youngsters want to do is ride there bike. Hope doing to much doesn't cause tiredness resulting in an injury. Cracking looking rider though. Luckily for me I'm in the lakes so missed last nights defeat
  13. So why have it then, won't stop me going like TWK but a bonkers rule. It's supposed to be a professional sport not its a knockout
  14. The only way it can be the stars fault is if they don't hand over the copies on time,so someone's telling porkies. I know who my monies on
  15. It's not the stars fault it doesn't get delivered on time it's the useless Royal Mail. I worked there long enough to know the place is a shambles. Besides ,it being 24 hours late is not the end of the world
  16. He said on the mic at Somerset he didn't want to run with it because he felt it short changed the fans
  17. At Somerser last night the announcer said if there's any newbies here talk to the person standing next to you to explain the rules. Good luck with that I thought
  18. Very true in marriage as well rd
  19. Fliss44 , let the family down they'll forgive you. There will be other family lunches. The wife's just asked for a cup of tea before I go to the speedway tomorrow. She asnt asked where I'm going or what time I'm getting up. It's Poole and I'm getting up at 5. I apologise in advance for the swearing in the morning which most of you will hear. Lol
  20. Bringing a couple of chairs along to watch from the back straight at the ota , is it worth taking them into Poole, if yes where's the best place to park ourselves. I know there's seats but imagine they will be rammed
