  1. Going to Redcar for the 4s because it's a 2 o'clock start, looking forward to Thursday . I was at Swindon in 2009 for the Wolves meeting I went to all home meetings and most away that year. It was at Swindon when I decided to properly support the Wolves in 2010 but then we came back. I shouted for Rory against Doyle on Monday before I realised what I was doing. Very confusing lol
  2. Instead of going to Redcar on Thursday to complete my tracks a car load of Heathens have decided to go to Swindon to see the Wolves. Scary. What are we turning into. Hoooooowwwwwwl. Oh God no
  3. I shall never enter Stoke speedway again, a shambles of a club. Feel for the fans that track could be a great racetrack . I've been to every track except Redcar which I will get to this year and although some tracks don't give good racing ,rating the overall experience Stoke come bottom by a country mile
  4. Cam looked very good tonight and hopefully can start knocking in the points for you now
  5. I'm sure I was there, there was a bit of rain in the air but there's no way it was called off because of that. The track was rubbish from the start some grading after heat 5 made it ok not brilliant but better . You did warn me Fubar ,that's about the 4th time I've suffered a shambles at Stoke. Good thing is it won't happen again. Even Will Pottinger is quoted as saying it was called off because of the rain. Can anyone who was there confirm it rained. I must be losing it
  6. Just seen it says rain on the sgb site, I must have missed it then. I'm not going to rant it's not worth it I shall stay away
  7. Track unfit for racing so abandoned after heat 10, absolute shambles of a club. I shall never put a foot in the place again. No speedway or Stoke speedway, no speedway every time
  8. How much you want to bet Aces 51
  9. These posts are doing my confidence no good for Saturday
  10. Enjoyed it after the first 4 heats it took the lads a bit to get dialled in but I had been to the NSS earlier and Monmores a bit trickier to ride!!!!! All in all a great days entertainment a couple of pints and a mixed grill and I was out the house for nearly 14 hours
  11. PS I'm going to Stoke Saturday hope I get the same experience
  12. We had a great time yesterday can't think of anything to complain about from the ticket office staff to the stewards on the gate in the south stand to Chase the Ace to the presentation and definately to the racing everything spot on. I thought at the time that heat 15 took a bit to get going but the reasons have been pointed out to me so absolutely no problems with that. My only complaint is they built it in the wrong place instead of close to where I live
  13. Must have missed the announcement , we were in the south stand but between speakers so couldn't hear too well
  14. Obviously that's fair enough then Phil, they should tell the crowd though everyone would understand then. Thanks for the info
  15. Cracking meeting again at the NSS better racing than the score suggests, water tractor out after every 2 heats but worth it to produce the quality racing on such a hot day. Hats off to the track staff. One small moan, why did it take so long to get heat 15 run. After the track had been watered because of the delay it had to be done again because it dried out. Strange. Meeting was still run at a good pace though ,just wish I lived closer
  16. Thought it was the end for Nicki but seems to be riding better than ever, let's hope he's up for it in the GPs
  17. Thanks Fubar I haven't been there for a couple of seasons because of some Stoke disasters in previous years. Feel I should support the lads this year because of our limited meetings this season. Il see how I feel later in the week
  18. After reading this not sure whether to go next week Or watch the GP with a glass of wine
  19. Not sure with me Steve ,I started going to Monmore in 99 and after 10 years I nearly went to the dark side especially after Billy joined . In 2009 I went home and away and after a narrow defeat at Swindon I was really annoyed and realised I was almost a Wolves fan. I decided in 2010 I was going to convert but then out of the blue we came back and I was back to Wolves being the enemy. However let's be honest were never coming back in the true sense so Wolves mean more to me than any other team except the heathens of course. Strange but true
  20. Car full of heathens coming to this, not sure who we will be shouting for
  21. Going tonight on the bike as well, now we have only a few meetings I'm going to see if there's an inner wolf in me trying to get out like it did when I watched them for about 10 years before we came back. Hope I can live with myself ;-)
  22. Anyone got the know how to put the piece in the Telegraph on here
