  1. Thanks for that just thinking tho with a 1 o'clock start it might be a bit awkward, I'l keep it in mind for future visits
  2. I never think the racing at Mildenhalls that good, probably because they usually beat us
  3. Always get to Swindon a few times each year and was thinking about coming down tomorrow but over 3 hours round trip to stand in the cold at £17 plus a bit of food to watch a meaningless meeting with guests and r/r or go up my local and spend £9 plus a bag of crisps. It's a no brainer. Always enjoy my trips to the Abbey but the racing I've seen there this year hasn't been good. Hope it works out for next year with a new track but I've got my doubts
  4. What a load of rubbish that was glad I didn't watch it live
  5. Is the food any better inside the stadium, every time I've been it's not been good
  6. Not sure about that Sid id argue that any one of the 15 could win a gp on any given night although I suppose you could argue realistically only maybe half a dozen if that ,could win it overall. Saying that in the one offs there were very few shocks over the years and again realistically only half a dozen had a chance on the night.
  7. Will Tai be younger if he wins his 3rd title than what Ivan was when he won his first? Therefore could Tai go on to win 7!
  8. I love watching moto gp being a biker myself I still can't understand how they get the bikes at the angles they do but rarely do you get races like the one this weekend so my first choice would always be speedway. Like yourself i actually think the racing today especially the gps (well some of them) is as good if not better than the rose tinted days. The promotion of the sport and running of meetings is generally a shambles
  9. I prefer GPS to the one offs just my preference, however on another slight on it ,imagine a one off final with the gp riders from this year or maybe last year . Brutal or what
  10. Same in the NL where Isle Of Wight have completed all there fixtures who we all know have a forward thinking promotion
  11. Ok says 1 0clock on the Nlrc line up on the sgb website
  12. Just seen the line up for this on the official website and it says 1 o'clock start. I thought it was 14.30
  13. I showed two mates that race last night and it did absolutely nothing for them, just bikes going around in a circle. I suppose if you don't get it there's not a lot anyone can do to get newbies through the turnstiles
  14. Hope you appreciate how lucky you are B.V 72 your crowds should be well into four figures
  15. Won't have to stress about us anymore by the looks of it
  16. Chadster is spot on, nearly every meeting you go to there's seems to be no urgency to get on with it. My wife's only been to 3 meetings. 2 league and Cardiff. She said why arnt the league teams run as professional as Cardiff was run
  17. Went to Newcastle for the first time this year and was expecting the worst but was pleasantly surprised, I've definitely seen worse over the years
  18. It's going to be our last one for this year ,good thing is whichever 16 riders turn up there's a good chance about a dozen of them will have ridden for us this year and could be all 16 have some kind of connection
  19. Just spotted the I.O.W advertising on the air fence, well done. Promoting
  20. Sacrificial slaughter of a virgin in Ipswich, what's the chances Baldy?
  21. Same here ,I had a go some 40 years ago and have had road bikes up to this day. I've got 4 lads 32,30 and 27 who all reckon they could beat their old dad easily although only one of them has ever rode a motorbike. Could be a great day out
  22. Have to agree if this had been Poole this thread would have been Up to 300 pages now
  23. I never got the American hero worshipping back in the day and I'm a Cradley fan
