I reckon the crowd has dropped by a good couple hundred, there was a time when it was said our crowd matched the Wolves but I'm not sure about that but there's no denying its dropped this season. I still enjoy supporting the lads home and away when I can get there but the National League standard has dropped but maybe it's more what it should be now but at £13 not really sure if everyone thinks it's value for money. I'l be at Mildenhall Sunday but there was no where near as many Heathens on our last visit. Saying all that there's still a fair few teams who would be happy with our level of support

Didn't Ivan Mauger say one year he purposely finished in a certain qualifying place to get the number he wanted in the World final. Can't remember if it worked out for him

One of the worst meetings I've seen at monmore unfortunately

Glad I went thought it was a decent meeting overall, obviously not a classic with the lesser teams only really being spoilers but some half decent racing. However, why have race offs for 3rd. Denmark finished 6 points clear end of story. Also they got a 3-3 against the Aussies but won the race that should have given them 2nd. Also, in heat 22 the French sat in 2nd and 3rd . Bonkers. If the winner of the heats team go thru that could have been a good race. Also if a rider touched the tapes in heats 22 and 23 that team is out but if the winning riders team go thru it could still be a decent race even with 3 riders

Was thinking of coming down Thursday ,I've not watched last night's meeting but doesn't sound good although comments about the first two meetings was positive . Regarding lay downs when they where brought in were uprights banned or did riders have the choice.

Happened to me at Scunny a few years back the track staff did a great job after a downpour, the track was a bit dodgy for a few heats but then there was some great racing upto heat 10. You can probably guess what happened then

Track was a bit tricky early on just thinking if it's like that next week for us there should be some fun and games to say the least

I'd go with Bewley over Cookie , the experience would be massive for him for the future . Craig was out of his depth last year. When he's on form he can be a cracking rider but not riding in the pl this year puts him below Bewley for me

After witnessing many farce meetings at Stoke thru various reasons I vowed never to return, however it seems like things are gradually being turned around so I'l be attending this season. More than happy to support a club that's trying to change things around
