Just read the Birmingham article in speedway star about fans over 60 not being computer minded, not sure about that. I'm 60 and was online 1 second after the Wolves tickets went on sale for the next meeting. Not a problem , took minutes on the phone to order
Mine came today but not till late morning instead of before 8. Still brilliant service tho, maybe they were late getting it? No comparison with Royal Mail 100% record by newsteam on next day delivery
The Wolves one is a bit strange, I've had 2 different types of tickets so paid extra 30p on each ticket to get a text message to save printing it off. However the email I got has bar codes on so am I paying the 30p needlessly. No idea. Not stressing over it. Lol
Thought Crumpy's chain snapped, sure I saw sparks and the back wheel seemed to be locked up when they pushed it off track.Hope he recovers quick but I have to question why he's come back at 45
I was in the bar but didn't see any trouble. Our seats were on the back wall so we couldn't see anything from there. We stood up by the seats but a young lady official came over and offered us tickets on the 4th bend which was great. Sorted no problem. The trouble seemed to be there was enough seats but you don't know if your allowed to sit with strangers these days. Could just be teething problems I'd have thought, I'm sure it'll be sorted. Enjoyed being back
Being a bit thick but I paid the extra 30p thinking that meant I would get the tickets to my mobile and I could just show that. Am I right in thinking I have to print the tickets off anyway, says that on the email. What was the 30p extra for?
Absolutely spot on but if costs are out of control something needs to be done because increasing admission isn't working. I've no idea the answer but we can all see the way it's going
It's not really the fact it's gone up but that it was overpriced to start with. I'd agree on £15. I wonder if Lambert's wages are being paid to his replacement. Remember Nicki Pedersen saying something along these lines when the top riders started to disappear
I'm beginning to think I may give the first meeting a miss, £19 plus poor line up by the looks of it. Will wait till the line ups announced I think. Just told my brother £19 and he's having second thoughts at that price. Up the pub maybe
Just noticed it's £19 this season, not sure that's a good idea with the diluted product. Maybe lose a few fans? Luckily for me I suppose, il pay £16 after the first few meetings. How did that happen lol. Thought there may be more details on the web site by now with tickets on sale Tuesday
