After not going to Redcar Friday I'm now not bothering with this, sign of the times. Petrol, heat, roads, cost of food and to get in plus getting old lol. At least I could stream Fridays. £11.99 better than nothing for the club's maybe
Was thinking of coming to this but with at least a 7 hour round trip on our nightmare roads and the cost of fuel saving my money. Sign of the times I suppose
Only been to 4 aways this year and everytime the journey home turned into a nightmare, with petrol prices etc it certainly makes you wonder if it's worth it. Monmore Green is only up the road for me, don't think I'd travel great distances for home meetings
I was actually hoping he would , lol. Tbh I think I was a little disappointed with the racing because it's been much better on previous visits, I think I was expecting to much. Looking back not a bad meeting and as I said the good heats were very good. If we had won I'm sure I'd have thought the racing was much better
I think winning makes us see meetings different. I enjoyed heat 1 then was a bit bored upto the last 5/6 heats . The heats that were good were very good but there was a fair number from the gate races but we were getting well beaten
Similar to the Heathens at Mildenhall, I could never understand the great little race track comments. But we always got beat fairly easily there which probably went to me not getting it
Thought it was poor Clegg didn't come round after heat 14, that was the first Newcastle winner wasn't it. I bet the fans would have cheered as if they'd won the league
Just watched this meeting and not great racing however I thought Paul did ok with Ian in the commentary with it being his first time. Admittedly I fast forwarded to the races
