Berwick Rangers have a small group of trusted fans who all have access to the clubs twitter account, one or two of them are in their early 20s. It would be good for Berwick Speedway to get some young blood on board with fresh ideas, shame there is seemingly hardly any fans of that age attending the Speedway. -

Selfishly, its a real shame that we don't get to see Simon Stead, love watching him around Shielfield. Regardless, Sheffield still have a team of intriguing riders that hopefully make it an exciting meeting. Hope its a good un. -
Good luck kid

Thank you. Gotta lot of time for this man. Doesn't BS with his opinions but is always pro-active trying to help the club and riders

Bit of a random question but Does the Speedway pay the BRFC SC rent per meeting or a sum per year?

I wanted Bellego to do a similar thing and go to a smaller track than Sheffield improve himself too.

Barker could be a great get next season (if fit) for a team like Glasgow. Plenty of money to sort his gear out and a very low average. Delighted that Liam for some good points tonight. Don't particularly like the bloke but credit to Cook, was a cut above the rest, again, like Danny King last week. There was a few decent races tonight to be fair, Doolan and Garcia worked their arses off, as mentioned above, our gating was awful. I'm not in the pits and have no idea about set ups, but mid meeting when we are still not gating, can't our boys and management get together and decide to change their bike set ups? Or at least try and change the track to suit us. I would love to know what the purpose in 3 tractors flying round the outside of the track actually does to benefit the racing or rider safety. I remember a few years back during a meeting, Adrian Rymel instructed our track staff to do a few doughnuts on the 3rd/4th turn to bring the dirt back inside, then in his next race he passed a rider on the 3rd turn on the inside. Shouldn't we be doing that instead of hoying the dirt out to the fence?..just a thought. -

I try leave the Black N Gold and enter the ground just as the heat one, two minute warning goes off to avoid the pre meeting patter -

"Team Great Britain internationals Richie Worrall and Ben Barker are said to have gone AWOL in Argentina, leaving International Speedway Championship organisers baffled. The pair jetted out to Bahia Blanca, reportedly at the expense of the local federation, to take part in the Argentine event, which kicked off at Bahia Blanca yesterday. But Worrall and Barker mysteriously disappeared from their accommodation. Argentine federation boss Cristobal Mulet told La Nueva: "The real situation is that we do not know where they are. “They have a commitment to race and if they do not, international disciplinary sanctions apply. "We are very concerned. We do not know what happened and have found no reason why they have disappeared as everything that was promised was fulfilled." “They were paid the return fare; they were given a house, money, a chassis etc. It’s a shame because the riders are of a very good level.” Polish rider Jakub Jamrog, Russia’s Oleg Beschastnov and Italian international Guglielmo Franchetti are the other overseas stars taking part in the series."
