Made my second visit of the season last night and a great night of racing I thought Witches was by far the better team on the night -for Panthers Hall and Digler was poor on this form can't see the Panthers reaching the play offs - on a different note why did the ref Mrs Horley allow this meeting to be run without a white line ? Has Horton run out of chalk ? . Also with double headers coming up how does the promotion expect to run 2 meetings before the 10pm curfew is a 6-30 start a possibility ?how does the promotion expect fans to afford all these meetings in a short space of time . And nearer the point can the promotion afford double headers ?

you seem to forget Darcy first UK Club was Kings Lynn maybe if he'd stayed he wouldn't now have these problems who knows but as things have turned out it was the best bit of business the Chapman have done off loading him to Poole .

Like every drink driver no excuses - fact is had he rode he would have endangered the other 15 riders - end result like a drink driver a ban . The sport is dangerous enough without actions like this . All I will add every GP every rider should be breath tested at every GP .

Riga Gp Tickets 2014
Haza replied to James 12345's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Did anyone really think from day one there would be a GP there ? the stadium is /was a dump compared to other venues Riga makes Bydgoszcz look a modern stadium . Have to feel for the fans over there after all Davgaphivls ain't just up the road . -

I was at the meeting yesterday and it should be said that we was very lucky to have had a meeting the rain that fell during the day and to have a meeting was amazing perhaps it's just me or maybe being there was the difference -but I thought it was one of the best I've attended this season - great racing on a great race track I thought . -

well with an average crowd tonight at Vastervik compared to the massive crowd for the size of stadium at Kings Lynn on Saturday can't see the race off and Final returning any time soon to Sweden . -
Swc Event 1 King's Lynn 26/07/14
Haza replied to Bagpuss's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Well I enjoyed last nights meeting great result for GB - as for the track moaners under the circumstances hot dry sunny weather I think Buster and his team did a fantastic job since the Norfolk Arena first staged this every year so far we have enjoyed great weather but laws of averages say one of these years if Lynn continue to stage this meeting it going to be wet so just remember how lucky we all was last night when another year it could be wet . -

Looking at the video it looks far from being a GP venue to me with 3 weeks to go to race day - makes Bydgoszcz stadium look good . -

think it's now 20 heats has been for the last 2/3 years -
If there was to be two GP in the UK it would be a massive mistake in my opinion it would split the crowd as what happened in Copenhagen already this season . As others have said if it ain't broke don't fix it I've been to every Cardiff GP and that's were the GP should stay - Wembley world finals are history in a different era and yes I have been to world finals at Wembley but for me it's has to stay in Cardiff .

Think Roo and you won't be far wrong
-
could it be a double upper maybe a Roo Boy ?

all I posted was the reasons why I and other fans I know don't attend - last thing I'm sure all speedway fans want is tracks to close - but if your promotion can afford to lose fans then so be it .

i,m a Kings Lynn fan and was a regular at the Showground till this season so far I've been once Good Friday and doubt I shall make another meeting this season - reasons I've not gone drop to PL is one Tuesday nights is the other plus Swedish League live on TV is another reason . Pboro needed to race Fridays in the PL in my opinion and I'd be there to watch .

S W C - Who Will Be Picked For Uk
Haza replied to michaelcroucher's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
whatever is the point in picking Barker ? As for Harris he can only live off the back of that Cardiff win for so long - he's been woeful in the GPS 20 points from 6 rounds Kildemand got 15 in one - sorry time to go youth the team of Woffy Cook R Worrell and Robert Lambert is the team I'd go for As for Rosco Woffy Harris Cook are dead certs the 4th team place Is anyone's guess but surly not Barker. -
S W C - Who Will Be Picked For Uk
Haza replied to michaelcroucher's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
After watching Chris Harris in Copenhagen I feel little point in including him in the Kings Lynn round the team I'd pick is Tai , Cook , R Worrell and Robert Lambert - these riders are the future - Harris has 20 SGP points from 6 rounds so why include him in the team ? The team Rosco will pick will no don't include Harris and Danny King . -
Danish Gp 28/6
Haza replied to LagutaRacingFan's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
100% right Chris qualified so has every right to be there all I'm saying is why put him self through this in my opinion he's reached his peak and who will forget that Cardiff win ? But the cost of competing at this level must be hard to swallow with little points reward . -
Danish Gp 28/6
Haza replied to LagutaRacingFan's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
After attending last nights Gp firstly congratulations to NKI great win well done Puk . Also I want to comment on Chris Harris gp form to me he is clearly out of his depth and competing at this leavel must be costing him a fortune for little reward is it time for Chris to consider his future in the SGP series ? -

Swedish Gp Malilla Saturday June 14th
Haza replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
It is only Sunday evening 6 days before the event I,m sure British Eurosport will show it LIVE if they don't I will be watching live either way on a Polish website - if it isn't shown on Eurosport many fans will miss out on what should be a great GP as it's on a great race track -
Listening to Pearson last night going on about the British Final at Wolverhampton in a few weeks and him going on about how good it will be and a massive crowd expected made me think of Coventry British Finals on the first Wednesday in June in the 70s and 80s I'd guess 10k in the stadium not just packed on the start line like it will be at Wolverhampton but a full stadium all 16 riders coming from the top league - I seem to remember one year the top 3 went straight into the World Final - also the year it was rained off 3 times I seem to remember . They was great memories of a then great event that really ment something to be crowned British Champion .
